"Bye Hwamin!"
The guys were cut off as Hwamin runned to her friend. Jeongguk had this intrigued face, like if he was trying to remember something but his brain wasn't cooperating. Yugyeom noticed and asked what was going on.
"Hwamin's friend. Her name... It's not strange to me. It kind of rings a bell..."
"Uhmm... Probably it's just because Hana is a pretty common name."
"You must be right..." Jeongguk agreed and shrugged of his curiosity
The boys resumed their walked and headed towards the main building where they were supposed to part ways, to their respective classes.
"Hey, Jeongguk. So what did you think of Hwamin?" Yugyeom pulls the topic
"She's nice! She's cool to talk to."
"Yes! I thought that too! I still haven't talked to her much but she seems pretty easy going, that's why I invited her!"
"Sure..." Jeongguk replies, dragging the word as if implying something "You don't have a crush on her or anything like that, right Yeomie?!"
Yugyeom stopped abruptly and turned to Jeongguk with a glance, the type of glance that could kill someone.
"STOP RIGHT THERE! You know she is not my type! And don't you ever dare calling me Yeomie again!! I've told you that a million times before! NEVER AGAIN!!!" Yugyeom screamed. He was enraged but Jeongguk knew he was not really angry, more like joking.
"Type? You have a type now? Yeomie has type now!" Jeongguk mocked his angry friend between laughs. "So who is your type? I'm dying to know now!"
"Ugh! You're so annoying! Jesus! And yes, I have a type! And it's girls beside Hwamin!"
"How come?! You just said she's cool and nice and easy going? Isn't that all points in favor?" Jeongguk argumented
"You don't understand. She gives me like, you know, little sister vibes! I could never think of her that way, it's just so weird!" he said while shaking that idea of his head!
"Oh my god, can you please just stop?!" Jeongguk said not containing his laugh "Seriously, my stomach is hurting so much because of your jokes!!"
Yugyeom raises his hand and playfully slaps Jeongguk in the back of his head, similar to what a father does to his son, and just walks away from all that madness. On the other hand Jeongguk was enjoying himself a bit too much so just continues with his jokes. This was the real Jeongguk that only few knew instead of that shy bean he shows to other. He just runs after his friend yelling in full lungs, not caring if the whole school listened.
"Yeomieeee!! Wait for me!! I LOVE YOU!!"
Yugyeom knew his friend too well so he didn't really care about these weird spazzes. However, he needed to keep up with the cool guy façade, but he didn't resist in joining the joke.
"Can you stop chasing me? You are not my type!"
The two boys just burst out laughing like crazy and continued their ways to their classes. A friendship like theirs was hard to come across but for them was just natural. You could never see them mad at each other, or fighting. Even if they're apart for a long time, it means nothing when they get back together. The amount of stories that we don't know and don't even begin grasp they spent together and lived together, that, was worth another story.
Meanwhile, Hwamin just reunited with her friend Hana. Hana hushes to say goodbye to her new friends she had just had lunch with and turns to Hwamin, wanting to know every detail of her lunch out and about.
