I hope you enjoy very muchly and please leave your thoughts! :)
Love Percy xx
P.S: I just realised that in my dramatic reveal at the end of the previous chapter, I had spelt Hippogriff wrong T-T

The Mysterious Case of the Missing Hat
Perseus considered himself to be a well taught young man, he could count to ten without a thought and read the large books Annabeth gave him without trouble. He knew all about the monarchs and the lands beyond the sea. But, Percy had never heard of a Hippogriff before.
"Do you speak in tongues?" Percy asks Rachel slowly, as if she were a little loose in the head.
"I beg your pardon?" Replies Rachel, frowning slightly and raising her eyebrows.
"Do you speak in tongues?" Percy repeats feeling just a little annoyed, "do you spin riddles of lies? Do you take me for a fool?"
Rachel snorts and shakes her head, "of course not, I would never lie to you Mister Percy."
"So Hippogriffs don't exist?"
"Oh no, they are very real." Rachel stands and places her crystal orb in another spot in the cave, Percy didn't quite understand what she accomplished with that action but he decided not to question it, "just go to the alley way beside the funeral home and you'll find a resident hippogriff family."
"I would love to welcome these alleged 'hippogriff' but I need to find my hat!" Percy cries, Rachel has such a terrible tendency to lose her focus on what was at hand, did she not remember his great tragedy and loss?
"You will find your hat there." Rachel lets out an exasperated sigh but Percy grins so widely and is filled up with such happiness and relief that he hardly notices.
"Thank you, thank you! You are brilliant Miss Red, simply brilliant!" Percy cries loudly, he spins Rachel around in a circle while she looks rather ill.
"I prithee do not turn me about, my stomach is not constant!" Says Rachel, holding her head and tummy, looking quite green.
Percy however, hardly noticed and instead places a kiss on Rachel's forehead and happily skips out of the cave cheering as he went while Rachel looks on in amusement at the odd young man.
