College

It was a year later. Tyler and Evan were still pretty close friends, though they didn't see each other a lot and talked a little bit less, but that's okay. Neither of them minded, they just enjoyed talking to each other. Evan's crush on Tyler hadn't been a phase and was still pretty strong.

He logged into MSN like usual and waited for Tyler.

WILDC4T43 has signed in.

WILDC4T43: Evan! Hey!
Vanoss: hey! What's up? =]
WILDC4T43: just listening to music and playing video games, you?
Vanoss: I'm just chillin'. What game you playing?
WILDC4T43: more GTA, except this time it's the third one. have you played it yet?
Vanoss: yeah, it's a great game
WILDC4T43: it's my fav at the moment
WILDC4T43: so how are you liking art school?
Vanoss: it's fun! I lucked out and got some really awesome people on my floor
WILDC4T43: sounds great, my floor is fucking boring. I'll have to visit you sometime ;]
WILDC4T43: got any plans for tonight?
Vanoss: yeah, I have to go in a few. My friend David and a few others are planning to hang out
WILDC4T43: sounds like fun. Don't get too drunk =]
Vanoss: lol I'm gonna get so fucking wasted. Do you have plans tonight?
WILDC4T43: nope, Craig has band practice so I'm just hanging out in my dorm

Evan froze. Wait, Craig? Why is Craig there? Maybe it's not the one I'm thinking of.

Vanoss: craig who?
WILDC4T43: Craig? He's my boyfriend. you remember him from high school right?
WILDC4T43: we've been dating for a few months now.

Evan felt sick all of a sudden. Tyler had a boyfriend? He could understand if he had a girlfriend but he didn't even know Tyler liked guys. And he hadn't said anything about Craig afternoon he party. Maybe if I'd confessed sooner...

Vanoss: I'm happy for you. How did you two get together?
WILDC4T43: well remember the that grad party craig threw last year?
WILDC4T43: marcel ran off with some junior so I was all alone.
WILDC4T43: craig saw me and came over and honestly, I saw a side of him Id never seen before.
WILDC4T43: after the party we kept talking then we realised we were going to the same school
WILDC4T43: when we got there we just kinda hit it off.

Evan paused, before reluctantly typing the next few words. He don't know what kind of answer he was expecting.

Vanoss: so, is he your best friend?
WILDC4T43 is typing...
WILDC4T43 is deleting...
WILDC4T43 is typing...
WILDC4T43: yeah definitely! He knows me better than anyone.
WILDC4T43: I mean sometimes he can be a jerk but when it's good it's really good.
Vanoss: a jerk?
WILDC4T43: he can get pretty nasty when we argue but that's it.
WILDC4T43: we're both stubborn people so we can go back and forth a lot.
WILDC4T43: but like I said, when things are good they're really good.
Vanoss: that sounds like a bad relationship tbh :/
WILDC4T43: I think it's a normal relationship. All couples argue a lot
Vanoss: just know I really care about
Backspace, backspace...
Vanoss: just know there are people who really care about you.
WILDC4T43: listen, we're fine. I don't want to talk about this anymore.
Vanoss: I just think you really should break up with him
WILDC4T43: Evan, I can take care of myself
WILDC4T43: you have to go hang out with friends anyways, right?
Vanoss: I mean, I can stay
WILDC4T43: you should go. I don't want you to miss anything. I'll talk to you later.
Vanoss: see ya
