Chapter 5

"There you are babe! What took you so long?!" Payton screamed and everyone looked because she had that effect on almost the whole school!

"Just caught up with some stuff." Kaya grimaced at the memory those words sparked and what her mother said echoed through her mind.

"Oh okay," Payton wasn't the type to ever ask much. "Well have you heard that Josh and Jack showed up to school today and there must have been some serious hormones going on because the got into this huge fight!" Payton made a really weak punch into the air as her back-length, blond curls whipped around.

Kaya's stomach jolted at the thought of Josh. She didnt even think about having to go to school with him everyday! Now she has to face that every moment on top of school!

"Hey, snap out of it! You seem to have be acting really strange. Oh well, I have huge gossip that probably tops anything you have to say." Ouch that one hurt. Payton was really serious about this new news.

"So what happened?" Kaya managed to get out. They were gradually walking to their classes down the hall.

"There you go, back at being the girl who always asked me! Well Jack came right at Josh this morning for no reason and just charged him down like a mad bull! Saying how he needs to keep his hands to himself! Then once they got a few punches out of the way, Josh said that Jack needs to keep in his own business. It sounds to me they are talking about some cheating. But who ever that girl is is pretty lucky to have the hot guy standing up for her. I have never seen Jack show any emotion!"

"Well that girl could have been just a fuck toy that one got longer then the other." Kaya murmered while looking at the floor. Had Jack really been the serious about that? He couldn't have. He wouldn't.

"Ugh, there you go! Being Debbie Downer! Now where is the fun of that. Just be glad I didnt something as crazy as them fighting over who has the biggest dick when on the most pills!"

This statement made them both cackle with laughter.

Payton was the first to come back to conversation. "But seriously, that is one lucky bitch to have Jack standing up for. He might have been here two whole years but he doesn't come close to showing it. He gets in a bad situation here and there but he never has got attention for it. With that much hotness, I would be showing it off to everyone." Kaya snorted. Payton went right back to what she was saying. "Yeah, that too. Surprised there hasn't been much talk about him screwing many girls. Probably does too! Hell, he probably would make you pay him if you ever did business with him." Payton nudged Kaya to the side.

"I can do better then that. Surprised they aren't tossing money at me through the halls!" Even though she ment to be funny and they both laughed, Kaya felt pain behind admitting to what she was now.

"Well hope you get a good one next. Havent heard of any good ones recently, have to tell me when there is one so I can try him out! See you later babe, gotta go deal with these damn teacher!" Payton flicked her fingers and walked into class.

Kaya thought of how lucky Payton was to have guys at her disposal without having to be pushed for money. She has had many relationships but they dont last long due to her chirpy, self-centered personality and she didnt care. The more she got around to see what type of guys there were was fun to her. Unlike Kaya, Payton has grown up rich and has a huge house. She gave was the head of all populars but something happend in the past year and she fell down onto Kaya.

Kaya liked the idea of having someone. But is kinda was a new thing to her that she was still trying to get use to. But for now, Kaya put on her strong face in order to get through her next class. As she walked in, there was Josh, giving her a devilish smile
