He looked over at the guy and smiled, "I see..." he said as he walked over. "I'll take that" grabbing the box from his hands in one swift movement, Dario used his other hand to steer Jewel into the inn. "Hey!-" the redhead didn't even get to finish his sentence, they were already gone.
Jewel was very quiet as they walked up the stairs to her room. She took out her key, opened the door and set down her basket in a corner. "thank you, for bringing me my basket..." her voice shaking again.
Setting the box on the floor, Dario starts to walk over but Jewel is already there. She opens the door and gestures him out, "thank you..." looking down, she sniffs and reaches a hand to wipe at her eyes.
Is she crying? why? did she want that guy or something? i didn't force her...
"what's wrong?" he says reaching out to move her hair from her face. He holds on to her braids, each fitting between his fingers and looks down at her.
Her lips part. so kissable
"thank you so much..." right then, she starts bawling. Tears streaming down her face, she wraps her arms around Dario and buries her face in his chest. At first he's taken by surprise, but he closes the door and wraps his arms around her too. He wished he could hold her forever, telling her that it was ok, ok because he was here. No matter what it was, he wanted to be her knight, only hers. Dario felt like this was where he was meant to be, what he was waiting for this whole time. His princess.
