Emma's P.O.V.

Today was the first day of Senior year. I dreaded school for years but I'm smart enough to actually manage it. I was taking a hot shower. The warm water hitting my back was soothing and relaxing. I turned off the water and dried myself off. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans and a white cami. I finished with my converses and grabbed my bag and phone.

"You guys are going to be late!" ughhh she won't shut up for a minute.

I let my long black hair down and put on my leather jacket. I had work after school so I wouldn't be home. I also grabbed me keys for my bike. oh yeah. My baby means everything to me. She's a shiny black color and very useful. Just don't ask how I managed to get one. I skipped downstairs two at a time and out the door with the fresh air blowing in my face. I spotted My lucky charm. My favorite white butterfly was always outside waiting by my bike. I loved it since I was little.

"Hey white." I held out one finger and it landed there with ease. Call me crazy for talking to a butterfly all you want to, but I know I'm not crazy; Just not yet.

I lifted my finger for it to fly away. I got on and strapped my helmet on. I started the engine and sped off without one notice.

Why do I have to go through this? It's not like I have any friends there. It's my first time at that school. I wonder what they'll think if me.

I parked as close to the entrance as possible. I took of my helmet and ruffled my hair. I held many gazes which I completely ignored. This is how it always has been I'm the new thing to look at and talk about for weeks. Always the gossip of students. I stepped in to the school. It was ordinary enough with dark blue walls and lockers lining them.

I went straight for the office to get my schedule. It was really warm in there with the dark blue walls and the huge desk that dominated the whole space. There was pants everywhere and a huge old wooden clock. There were different diplomas and papers sticked to the walls also. There was carpet on and a chair covered a stain that was there. It was cluttered with a huge amount of papers. There was a middle aged women behind the desk who was reading something intently on the computer.

"Hi may I help you." Her voice was a little off. She sounded bored already.

"Yeah my names Emma Burly I'm here for my schedule please." I smiled softly at her but she returned it with a forced smile.

She typed something on her computer before going through the papers in her desk, "Here's your schedule and the map of the school."

"Thank you." I grabbed the papers and walked out of the room and down the hall. I glanced at the papers in my hand.

I continued walking around the school trying to Familiarize myself with the numbers. Class started in about 5 minutes So decided to go to Literature early. I always loved writing and reading so I know this is an easy "A". I walked in to the room and greeted the teacher. Mrs. Hoften wasn't that bad so we'll be getting along just fine. She told me to sit wherever so I chose a seat close to her desk. The first bell rang and students started to pour in. They spotted me and gave me confused looks. I guess They never saw a new student before.

There was this girl who caught my eye but no for long. It was there when I stared at the door when this one particular guy came in view. He was gorgeous no doubt. He had golden brown tousled hair. A chiseled jaw and the most perfect set of green eyes. He had a tight shirt that you could perfectly see his toned muscles and he was dressed in perfection. I didn't realize I was checking him out before he looked at me and winked. Every girl in class turned to me with envious faces which I clearly ignored. I turned my head the other way trying to hide my deep red blush.

'Why me lord, Why?' I thought to myself.
