Little girl from Shadows

When light is mixed with darkness,

Shadow is produced,

Neither one nor both together,

An outcast, fills no shoes.

So if a little girl is from shadows,

She says, turn away and just listen -

"You cannot know these people",

"Shadow's cannot feel other's joy".

She ignores her own self's warnings,

Takes to heart, not what she said,

She strides forward as a shadow,

Only to darken the light that is her friends.

The little girl has fallen further,

Darker than shade, but notheless,

She pursues the act of friendship,

She asks for love and joy from the best.

She is the same as she once was,

Only now she's just more wicked,

What was once hidden and untold,

Is now a web of lies and bickering.

Still, she finds what she was seeking,

Except the little girl hates the sound,

Of joy and hopefullness from others,

That is created from her being around.

So she listens to her inner voice,

The one that tells her this is wrong,

As she pushes away all things from light,

And writes, with an apologetic tone.

Except who cares if some are hurt,

What does it matter if they cry,

It's not as if the girl from shadows,

Could fix things, unlike time.

This is why you can't stay with someone,

Who is neither light nor shade nor darkness,

She is a shadow, but a reflection,

Of things that could be, of things that were.

This little from shadows,

Won't even take the blame,

Let's tell the people who like her,

That they are wrong and should stay away.

Because who cares if some are hurt,

What does it matter if they cry,

It's not as if the girl from shadows,

Can fix things, unlike time.
