Chapter 7

Violet's p.o.v...
"Hmph!" I said to myself and left. I stomped into the house a little and went upstairs. I took off the jacket, turning on my laptop. I went to watch dramas and checked my social media. I saw the Skype logo. I hate it. I deleted it from my screen. Who the fudge just breaks up with people over the screen?! I sighed, hearing a slight knock on the door. I opened it and saw Xiao kai. "What are you doing here freak?" I asked."Now you know how I felt when I saw you playing with Qian xi." He started. "What?" I questioned. He entered the room and sat on my bed as I sat on the floor. "Sloth." He said again. "Freak." I continued. "You sloth." He smirked. "Shut up freak." I added, annoyed. I went back to the laptop, ignoring his existance. He sat down on the table beside my laptop and started poking me in my waist. I wasn't afraid of tickles so I just glared at him to stop. He stopped poking and smiled sheepishly, giving the devils face and waited for me to turn back to my laptop before he takes action again. He used his long freak legs and tap my chair's legs. "Stop." I said. "No." He answered. "Why?" I asked. "Because you are ignoring me." He replied.

Wang yuan entered right after that and sprung himself on the bed. "We should go out some times." He suggested. "I am bored." He explained. "Hey isn't there a backyard?" I asked. He nodded and I got an idea. "Can I transform it with my magical powers?" I asked. "You are childish." Xiao kai said. "You only have once in a lifetime to be childish so why not?" I said. "I give up on you." He sighed. "Geez you have no peserverance." I answered. "What are you going to do to our backyard?" Wan yuan asked. "You will see." I said with glee and rushed down excitedly. The back yard was huge with a small rectangular wooden platform that comes with steps. I set up a portable bbq thingy there and made a zip liner with a mini tree house.I went out to the supermarket to prepare food for bbq and set it up after the food is ready. I then went upstairs to call them down. "Wow." Wang yuan gasped. "Me first!" He exclaimed and went on the zip liner. Xiao kai went into the tree house as qian xi tried the zip liner. Wang yuan went over to the food area and admired the food. Xiao kai climbed down the steps that I nailed to the huge tree and said,"I am amazed." "My dad taught me all these. We used to have these and play them together." I said sadly. "Anyways, lets eat." Qian xi suggested.

We had a lot of fun together but it was soon time to sleep. I laid on the bed, snuggling in my cozy little bed and blanket. The door opened and I feigned my sleep as the door closed. A pair of arms wrapped around my waist and I knew it was Xiao kai. "Why are you here?" I asked, turning to look at him. "I miss you." He said. "Already? You freak." I said. "Sloth." He whispered. "Hate you." I whispered back. "Cherrypie, we all know you don't mean it when you say you hate me." He said. I started blushing as he tightened his hands around my waist. "Don't you ever leave me." He whispered again. This was something like what Ace said to me, to wait for me even if it takes forever. I shouldn't have trusted him. All these things made me realise one thing; Forever is a place where its impossible for one to arrive.

"Why are you suddenly so quiet?" He asked, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Nothing." I said. "Thinking about another guy?" He questioned, getting suspicious. "No." I replied. "Sure?" He said, lifting my chin so my eyes meet his. His eyes widened a little and became soft again. "Your eyes sparkle in my dark night sky." He said. He moved closer and closer, reaching for my lips. I leaned in for the kiss as I closed my eyes but saw an image of Ace and immediately retreated. "Sorry." I mumbled. "Why? Whats wrong?" Xiao kai questioned. "There's another guy isn't it?" He asked as I sensed fury in his tone. I hesistated to reply because I didn't want to lie to him but if I replied 'yes', I would have to tell him the whole story. "Why do you need to think so long? There must be a jerk who took you before me." He said, exploding with anger and I could somehow make out his heart was broken.

He released me and sat up. Tears flowed down my eyes,being in a dilemma. I wanted so much to tell him how much I love him despite him being freaking annoying. He left and slammed the door. What have I done? I asked myself, grasping my chest as it hurt. "I really love you. Please understand that I am not ready yet." I mumbled but he already left. Tears were flowing uncontrollably. I really love you. You have no idea how much. I miss you terribly when you leave me even if its only for a second. I wanted to tell him so many things but I couldn't.

I woke up the next morning with eyes that are slightly swollen. I exited my room after getting ready and tied Xiao kai's jacket around my waist as usual. We met at the living room and it was awkward. My heart was hurting so much but I couldn't make it clear to him. I love him so much, seeing him hurt makes me hurt too. "I am leaving." I said and was about to leave the house when Xiao kai grabbed me. We exchanged gazes and he showed me a look,pleading me to tell him what happened. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I loosened myself from his grasp and rushed out of the house.
