Chapter Twenty Eight

Ellies POV

Blackness surrounded me with only a hint of light and my breathing was all i could hear. My chest rose and dropped. My breaths were sharp and short. A shadow suddenly took the only light from me and i was in darkness. I tried to move but i couldnt. It caused to much pain to move. I was struggling. And i didnt know where i was and what has happened. I just hoped i was alive. I felt a warm hand brush over the top of my head, shaking. A kiss was placed softly on my head.

"I'm sorry but shes not gonna make it. Whether she wakes or not." I heard someones voice say softly. I heard someone weeping and it crushed my heart. I was confused but it hurt to hear someone cry so. I took a rugged breath and blinked my eyes open. I understood my surroundings quickly. I was in hospital. Many people filled the room. My surroundings answered most of my questions that filled my head. I tried to sit up stiffly, only to recieve pain when i moved. I threw myself back down. "Guys.." I croaked. Suddenly, i felt all eyes on me. I looked around the room, taking in my company. I noticed many famillar faces. Niall, Liam, Harry, Hannah, Mum, Dad, Nathan who was my old school friend and a girl who i knew as my old bestfriend, Millie. Tears filled everyones eyes. Niall stumbled over to my side and grabbed onto my end, tears stinging in his eyes wanting to be released. He kissed my head and suddenly tears flooded from eyes, pouring out the corner of my eye.

"Hey." He whispered, tears flooding down your eyes. "Ellie, i need you to know that i love you." He whispered again, more tears flowing. He took a step back from me and covered his eyes with the back of his hand. He bit his lip and tried to hold his tears back. His sniffling filled the room and i could hear his cries.

"Whats going on?" I managed to say.

"Ellie.." My mum spoke up but she just burst into tears.

"Mum.." I spoke up, scared showing up in my voice. I never saw my mum cry so i knew something serious was happening and i couldnt handle it.

My mum left the room, chased after by my dad. A doctor in a white coat strode over to me. "Ellie.." He spoke up. I nodded, waiting for him to speak. "This is gonna be hard for you to undertstand. And it hurts to tell you." He paused for a moment. "You've been in a serious accident. Your body has been severly crushed and damaged and you've lost so much blood."

"Wha-?" My voice stuck in my throat.

"Ellie, your not going to make it." The doctor told me. Tears suddenly formed into my eyes and i sobbed my heart out. My cries echoed around the room. My life was just starting to become everything i'd wanted and it was being taken away from my so soon. Niall had proposed to me, i'd got a new job, a new house, another pet, made some new friends, had an amazing time with my boyfriend and just the other week i'd found out i was pregnant. The thought of losing all that hurt.

"There has to be some way to save her!" Millie spoke up, speaking loudly, her voice croggy.

"There is but theres a 50% chance it wont work. And it consists of a servere operation and theres a chance Ellie wont make it through.." The doctor spoke up.

"Well the least we can do is try!" Niall shouted loudly. The doctor let out a little sigh and shook his head.

"We're gonna need a blood transplant, Ellies lost to much blood. And we need to replace some vital organs and a skin tissue proceedure. We're gonna need someone with the same blood type as Ellie. And someone who is willing to risk there life." The doctor said the last sentence slightly.

"I have the same blood type as Ellie." Millie spoke quietly, raising her hand.

"What!?" Nathan and Liam chorused.
