Taylor's POV
I was lying on my bed and staring at the ceiling mindlessly when the phone went off. Finnick's name and his stupid-looking picture were flashing on the screen.
"Sup idiot-" I answered.
"God damn it! Fuck! Look where you're going, idiot!" He yelled.
"Finnick? What's going on? From what I heard I can imagine you driving like a lunatic." I asked with a mix of worriness and curiosity.
"Shit. Are you home?" He asked still sounding furious.
I furrowed my brows. "Ye-"
"Good. Stay there. I'm coming over. Jiselle is with me." That was when I noticed the sound in the background, it sounded like someone was hysterically sobbing.
"Is Selle crying?" I asked as worriness started eating me up.
The sobbings got louder, but no one said anything.
After a long moment, he answered with a sighed almost inaudible. "Yes"
"What happened?"
A pause."I can't tell you now. Be there in 5. Bye."
"Wai-" Finnick ended the call.
What's going on? Why was Jiselle crying? This is bad, Selle rarely cries, even if someone cheated on her.
I was pacing around the room when Finnick kicked the door open, carrying an agonized Jiselle in his arms. He carried her as if she was a fragile china doll, as if he gripped too hard she would shattered into pieces, as if his grip was too loose she would slip through his arms.
Jiselle, she hates when people treated her like she's weak. She hates it with every ounce of her blood. But she was clutching to Finnick, crying her eyes out, looking vulnerable, despaired, and lost.
Finnick crossed the room and put her on my bed, then he sat down next to her and put his arms protectively around Jiselle. I also rushed to sit down beside her.
"Jiselle, honey don't cry. It pains me to see you like this."
Jiselle nodded indicating that she heard what I said. She used the back of her hands to wipe her tears.
"I'm thirsty." She managed to croak out.
"Okay,I'll go get som-" I was about to stand up when Finnick held me back as he stood up.
"I'll go get it" He muttered and left to the kitchen leaving me and Jiselle sitting there.
"Are you okay..?" I blurted out knowing it's a stupid question to ask her right now. "I'm sorry it just came out of nowhere so-"
"I'm okay Tay, I'm just tired... Don't worry" Jan mumbled weakly as she passed out.
"Shit! Finnick help! Selle passed out!" I yelled not knowing what to do.
"What when what the heck?!" Finn growled as he ran towards us. He examined her and turned and gave me a glare.
"Are you always this stupid or you just did drugs and are high right now?" Finnick said still glaring at me.
"Wha..t she.. she passed out" I answered nervously.
"Dumbass, she's sleeping, Jesus you scared the shit out of me, Jiselle" He said turning back to her, looking worriedly. Gosh, I'm kind of stupid for a straight As student.
