I woke up to the sound of an annoying bleeping sound in my ear.
Ugh. School.
Why does school have to start so damn early?
I groaned and slowly rolled out of bed, grabbed my straightener and make-up, and headed for the bathroom.
When I opened the bathroom door, my cousin Jeffery was standing there going pee. And with the way the bathroom is designed, I could see everything from the doorway.
"GAH! Oh my God Jeffery! What the hell?! Can't you atleast lock the door, you freak?" I screamed at him.
"Well maybe YOU should learn to knock, God damn it!"
We stood there glaring at each other for a few moments. I was the one to break the silence.
"Atleast put yourself away Jay." I said trying not to look. He was standing there staring at me front on, with all it out.
He smirked. "You know you like it."
"No I don't. Now put it away before I call the cops for sexual harassment."
He sighed and tucked everything back into his size small skinny jeans.
"Thank you. Now. GET OUT."
He did as I said, but before he walked out the door, he turned to me and said, "I am sorry, Alls. Forgive me?" He asked with his puppy dog face.
"No. Now, out." I was practically shoving him out the door now. When he was finally out and about to go to his room, I added, "And your not even that big!"
I heard him start to run back to the bathroom but before he could reach the door handle, I shut the door and locked it. I was having a hard time breathing from laughing so hard.
He was pounding on the door trying to get in, but I just ignored him and plugged in my straightener.
"Allison! Get your sexy ass down here! We need to go!" Jeffery yelled up the stairs.
I was rushing to get my shoes on when I had a sense of deja vu.
I shook it off and ran out to the waiting car in the driveway.
"Jesus Christ Alli. You take a long time. But it's totally worth it." He said smirking.
"Just shut up and drive before I punch your teeth out." I growled.
"Oh. Feisty. I like you this morning." He just never stops. He's been hitting on me since I moved in with my Aunt 4 years ago when I was 13 and he was almost 15.
I didn't even respond to him. I jst looked out the window and waited for school to come to my rescue.
After what seemed like a never ending car ride, we finaly arrived at school. Before Jeffery could even put the car in park, I jumped out the door and ran to look for my friends. I fuond them by the band door passing around what looked like a beer bottle.
I guess I should explain why my friends have alcohol on school grounds without worrying about an adult.
I go to a really richy snotty school. It's super expensive and the only way my Aunt and Uncle are able to pay for it is because they're both really rare types of surgeons and they're always out on vacations for their work.
I walked up to my group of friends and was immediatly greeted by my best friend Stacie.
"Hey Alli!"
"Hey Stace. How's it?" I asked, nodding my head towards the beer being passed around.
She started to laugh hysterically. "It's not too bad. Some cheap stuff from down the street. You want some?"
Leave it to Stacie to get drunk almost everyday before school.
I chuckled. "Nah man. You enjoy it. I have to go anyways."
"Alright. I'll meet you here after school!" I heard her call out behind me.
I waved my hand behind my head signaling I heard her.
Let's get today over with.
The final bell rang for school.
YES.
Today went impossibly slow.
I practically ran out of my 6th hour, anxious to get out of this hell hole.
I was walking down the hall when I felt someone wrap their hands around my waist.
"I missed you today." The voice purred in my ear.
I was confused for a second, but then I realized I knew that voice all too well.
"Get the hell off me Brad." I elbowed him hard in the stomach. It didn't seem to faze him much though, much to my disappointment.
Brad is my ex boyfriend. He's a total crack head and alcoholic and all he wants is $ex. I discovered this when after 2 days of dating he tried getting me into bed. I immediatly broke it off about 5 months ago.
"Oh come on. I said I was sorry. Please give me another chance." He begged. I turned to look at him and saw he was desperately trying to hide a smirk.
"No." I said annoyed and quickly walked away.
I needed to get out of this place.
I almost ran out of school to where I was supposed to meet Stacie.
The amazing thing about her is she knows when something is wrong even before I open my mouth.
"Whoa, A. What's up?" She asked concerned. She was holding my shoulders to try and keep me to stay in one spot.
"Brad."
Saying that one word made all hints of concern wash away. Now it was just filled with anger.
She didn't say anything. She just stood there looking at me, then abruptly walked off towards the parking lot.
"Whoa whoa whoa, Stacie. What the hell are you doing?" I asked, catching up to her and grabbing her arm.
"I'm going to find the bastard! He has to be here somewhere- AHA!" She yelled, pointing across the parking lot and storming over in that direction.
I just sighed and let her go.
No way of changing her mind now.
I just watched her walk over, shake her angry finger at him, him acting all innocent, her slapping him then walking away satisfied.
"Feel better now?" I asked sarcastically.
"Loads." She replied, taking my arm in hers.
I just shook my head. "Oh Stacie."
