Part 9-I Don't Understand These Feelings

I told Austin and Boomer that they should go home already,I'll be there soon.Then I turn to face Cody,who looks even more jealous than before.

"Who are they?"he asks,disgust clear in his voice.

"My best friends,"I replied back matter-of-factly.

"When were you going to tell me they were staying at your house?"

"Once I saw you again.I only found out when I went back home."

"YOU COULD OF CALLED ME!"

"I don't have your number."

"You could of asked for it!"

"I don't want it!"

"UGH!You're so confusing!One minute you like me,the next minute you don't!Your always teasing me and I really like you but I never know if you truly like me or you're just pretending for the fun of it!"Cody bursts out,very angry.

"You know what?I.DON'T.CARE.I don't even know if I like you.I've just been getting these weird feeling I never felt before,okay?"I blurt,instantly regretting it.

"What kind of feelings?"Cody asks softly.

"Horrible ones!Like something is telling me they want to be with you.And when you and Melanie were talking,I got this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach.I've NEVER had these feelings before and I don't know what it means!"

"It means you like me too.It means you're jealous when I'm with other girls.It means you're falling hard for me,almost as hard as I fell for you,"he replies,inching closer until are bodies are touching.

"Cody,"I said quietly,feeling sparks of electricity go off everywhere Cody is touching me.

He leans in his head closer,until his forehead is leaning lightly against mine.

"Hmm?"Cody mumbles in a trance.

In the dark I can see Cody leans in even more.He slowly moves his head to my neck.Next thing I know,he's trailing gentle little kisses on my neck,then my jawline.

"Cody,"I say,a bit louder this time.

Cody,who was about to start leaving kisses on my neck again,looks up.

"Yes?"

"Stop."

Cody completely ignores me,his aqua eyes searching mine.His eyes flutter to my lips,then back up to my eyes.Then he says the corniest line ever.

"My lips are lonely,can they meet yours?"

"In your dreams Simpson,"I scoff,walking back over to my house.

"Call me?"

"Aren't guys supposed to make the first move?"

I walk into my house and see Austin and Boomer playing one of Michal's video games,making lots of noise.I'm surprised Michal hasn't woken up yet.Boomer notices me then looks back at the TV screen.

"Was that Cody?"Boomer asks.

"Yeah,why?"

"He was giving you googly eyes,while Boomer and I got daggers shot at us,"Austin replied.

"Yeah,I thought he was gonna rip me to shreds,man,"Boomer shivers,repeatedly pushing a button on the controller.

"I know dude.I'm surprised he didn't,"Austin shrugs.

"Uh huh,man dudes,I would watch out,"I mock.

"Shut up!"they say playfully at the same time.

"Yeah,yeah.Your rooms are next to mine.Don't forget to put the games back where you found them!"I called,heading up the stairs.

"Of course not,mother,"Aussie and Boo Boo call back.They stuff at the same time so much,it amazes me they aren't related in any way.

I arrive in my room,noticing I still haven't painted the room.I make a mental note to do that tomorrow.I bet Alli,Boomer,and Austin will help.Maybe Cody too?Right on cue I get a text from a private number.

I change into PINK sleepwear and lay down,instantly falling asleep.

OMG!Jesabelle admitted her feelings!Not in her head,but to Cody.GASP!Haha,but they're still not together.Sad,I know.But they should be getting together soon.Hope you enjoyed this chapter!Again,not so long since I'm pooped from the field trip to Stone Mountain We had to hike up the one mile and then back down again.But you probably don't care...
