Part 16-Oh No He Didn't!

"Where are we going now?"

Cody had one arm wrapped around my waist from behind me and the other covering my eyes.

"You'll see."

"But that's the thing;I can't see."

"I like your sense of humor,"Cody laughs.

"I would say that's not the first time I've heard that.But it is."

"Really?"

"Are we there yet?"I asked,totally ignoring his question.

"No."

"How about now?"

"Nope."

"And...Now?"

"Uh-uh."

"Phoeey."

"You sound like Cat from Victorious."

"You sound like you need to shut up."

His mouth was now shut.Cody was slowly leading me to another surprise.I heard lots of noises,so we must be in the city.

"We're here,"Cody stopped.

"Yay!"

He slowly uncovered my eyes with his hand and then wrapped that arm around my waist so I was fully in his grip.I looked at what we were standing in front of.

"What..No way."

"You better believe it,baby."

Cody had brought me to the modeling company Boomer's cousin,Talia Coover,owned.That woman has always wanted me to work there,but I had lived in New York.Now I could work there.Because Boomer told Cody.

"You are amazing Cody."

"Not as much as you,"he smiled,"Now let's go in,I already made an appointment."

"Appointment for Cody.Cody Simpson?"he said to the clerk.

"Right that way,sir,"the woman replied,pointing to a room.

Cody absentmindedly laced our fingers together before going to the room.I knocked and heard a lively,"Come in!" from the other side of the door.I pushed the door open.I saw Talia looking at pictures of her models on a screen.She looked up.

"Jesabelle?You accepted the offer?"

"Duh,why wouldn't I?"I chuckled.

"And who is that hot guy?"Talia whispers,cupping her hand so Cody can't here.

"That's just Cody my-"

"Boyfriend.I'm Jesabelle's boyfriend,"Cody smiles,holding out his hand for her to shake.

"Nice to meet you,Cody."

"Same for you."

"So what am I going to do?"I asked.

"Follow me."

Talia gets up and leads us out of her office.We wind up in a room,set up with lots of photographers,a screen to look at the pictures and a stage.On the stage was a woodsy looking background.

"Okay,so you're going to be dressed up as a fairy and we'll just take shots of you,"Talia explains.

"Kay."

A good looking man took my arm and dragged me to a dressing room.

"Put this on,"he chirped,shoving me a beautiful dress,"My names Damonte."

I go into the room and change into the dress. I come out and Damonte leads me to a mirror filled with cosmetics.He instructs me to close my eyes before putting tons of make up on me.When he's finished,I look like another person.

"Wow.I look amazing.Thank you."

"That's why I got the job,girl!And you're welcome!"

He gives me the fairy wings before I go to the photography room.Cody's jaw dropped.I smirked at his reaction.They took tons of photos and,you get the picture.No pun intended.

"You're in!"Talia congratulated me.

"Thanks so much!"

"Anytime."Then,she added,whispering,"If I can see that boyfriend of yours if you know what I mean."

I laughed and replied,"Eww.So not happening while I'm around."

"Well I have other business to attend too.You can change and take off all the make up!"

"Thanks again.Bye."

I changed into my regular clothes and got Cody to help me get my make up off.

"Thank you,"I said to Cody who was hanging up my costume.

"For what?"he smiled,turning to face me.

"For everything,"I said before pulling him into a hug.
