"Nyla, Nylaaaaaa"
Who was that whispering my name? My eyes fluttered open. It was Justin.
"Hi" he smiled
"Hey, what time is it?" I asked
"5:30" he said
"Shit, I gotta go" I mumbled
"I'll drive you" he said
"Okay"
I sat up slowly on his bed, reached down to the floor and gathered my stuff. Then I stood up, turned and looked into the mirror standing on his wall and gasped. I look bad.
"No you don't" Justin said
"I said that out loud?" I asked
"Yeah" he laughed
"I do, god, my hair is a mess" I frowned "I'm ready to go"
"You look cute" he smiled
"Thanks, but.." I trailed off
"Look, it's okay, let me get you home" he said
"Okay"
We left his room and walked down the stairs.
"Justin, this is like the fifteenth girl you bought to your room this week" somebody said
I looked down to see a dark skin boy.
"Hi" he said
"Hi" I said
"What's your name?" he asked
"Nyla, yours?"
"Christian"
"Christian shutuppp!" Justin said "I'll be back"
"Yeah yeah" Christian said
When we got to his car, we sat in silence for a minute.
"Nyla" Justin said
"Yes" I said
"Why did you let Paula do this to you?" he asked
"Well for one she always has two other girls with her, so I wasn't able to do much" I said
"You should've told me" he said
"Sure, like you'd ever believe me" I said
"You didn't even try" he said
"Because I knew you wouldn't believe me" I said
"And how would you know?" He asked
"Because you barely know me" I answered "Look just because I didn't do anything today, doesn't mean I can't fight, where I'm from they'd call girls like her pussy"
"Yeah and where are you from?" he asked looking at me.
"Brooklyn, New York" I smirked "Payback is a bitch"

"Thanks for dropping me off, you really didn't have too" I said
"Nah, I wanted too" he said
"Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow" I said
"Yup" he smiled "Bye Nyla"
"Bye" I said
I watched as he turned around and walked to his car. When he left I went inside my house to my whole family there.
"Hey ma" I said hugging my mom from behind.
