Marcel more than the geek?

Chapter 2

(Liz's P.O.V.)

Why did Marcel run away from me did I scare him no probably cause he never talked to a girl before cause I always see him at like lunch eating alone reading a book.

I decided to brush off the thought and to just go to my first period. As I walked into the class room I saw Marcel just sitting in his usual spot reading a book, I wanted to get to know him more he's like a puzzle that's just begging to be fixed and maybe I could be that someone.

Once I snapped back into reality I quickly took my seat in the back right corner of the room and just in time too. I heard the bell ring and our science teacher Mr.Piece came in with his usual cup of coffee and his suitcase "alright class today I will be giving you all a project to do about our solar system and you will be doing it with a parter that I will pick for you. Everyone has to pick a planet and state about 50 facts about that planet. Then turn it in to my dest in 3 weeks." Our teacher said explaining the project more as I just tapped my pen on the table.

Mr.piece was then telling us all our partners and he was getting close to the end "Kayla with levin and Liz with Marcel" Mr.Piece said as he then put down some papers he was holding.

I looked at Marcel who was already looking at me as I flashed him a smile that he returned. We all had to go to our partner and talk about the project, I was about to go to Marcel's desk but then I saw him walking towards me "hi Marcel" I said "H-Hi Liz you know I can do the p-project all by myself you don't have t-to do a thing if you don't want t-too" Marcel stuttered to me awww it was so cute how he stuttered to me "oh no Marcel I'm going to help you I'm your partner besides I'm not that kind of person" I said as I took out my phone "here put in your number so we can text each other" I said as he just stared at me wide eyed but he did "now give me your phone so I can put my number in" I said and giggled "oh right" Marcel said as he went to his bag and came back with his phone and I put my number in "So we should start the project today can I come over to your house if your not busy" I said

"no I'm not busy I'm never really sure you can come over" he said quickly "ok well should I come after school ends" I said "sure that's perfect but I'm walking home if that's ok with you" he said "yeah no problem some times I walk home myself" I said as we heard the bell right and I walked out and when to my locker to get my text books for civics and walked into class. Once I walked in I sat right next to my friend jade "hey jade" I said setting my books down on the table "hey Liz what's new" jade said "well I'm doing a project with a kid in my class Marcel, he always stutters when he's talking to me" I said and jade just laughed

"awkward but tomorrow do you want to go to the mall after school my dad can pick us up after school and you need to sleep over tomorrow too" jade said as more people piled into the class "ok and of course I'll sleep over" I said as the bell rang and class started.

-skip to lunch-

So I just got out of language arts as I walked to my locker to put my books in and grab my lunch then I went to my usual table with my friends "hey" my friend Samantha said "hey Samantha" I said sitting down "so I heard your doing a project with that Marcel kid" Samantha said grabbing my chips out of my lunch box

"yeah I do I'm going to his house after school and we're going to work on the project" I said as I spotted Marcel sitting by his self eating carrots and reading a book "oh ok" Samantha said as she began to stuff her gave with chips "I'll be right back guys" I said as I walked over to Marcel "hey Marcel" I said sitting next to him "oh h-hi Liz" he stuttered closing his book "hey why don't you come and eat with me and my friends" I said stealing a carrot from him "a-are you sure I d-don't Want to be a b-bother" Marcel said "I'm sure now come on" I said standing up and walking to my friends as Marcel followed behind.
