„Where do you girls live?" Colton asked on their way through the city. Jade looked at him with one eyebrow raised.
„Why are you asking?" she asked a little harsh. He just shrugged his shoulders.
„I thought we might accompany you, nothing else. Look, Jack and Perrie are having a great time," he toss up to those two. It was true and Jade knew it. They met the boys shortly after 11 o'clock and it was about 10 pm as they were slowly walking home. Perrie and Jack haven't stopped talking and laughing since he laid his eyes on her. Jade saw the spark in Perrie's eyes and she knew she won't get much sleep tonight because Perrie won't be alone and quiet in her room. She sighed loudly and told Colton their address. He was a really nice boy but Jade couldn't stop thinking about her ex, even though she knew he was a piece of shit for treating her the way he did and leaving her in pieces, she just couldn't stop loving him.
„Jade, is everything alright?" she heard Colton's voice.
„Yea, why shouldn't it be?" she asked him, with noticeable surprise in her voice. He kept looking at her and then touched her cheek.
„You're crying," he whispered. Jade looked at his hand, wet from her tears.
„I'm so sorry, I don't know what's going on with me lately," she apologized and felt greatly embarrassed.
„It's alright, you can tell me if you want to," he smiled at her and that was the moment Jade realised, she can't spend her life crying over one stupid boy.
„I will tell you when we get home," she cheekily smirked at him and she could swear his face went red.

„Do you want something to drink?" Jade asked everyone when they arrived home.
„Do you have green tea?" Colton asked her, sitting on the sofa in their living room.
„I do, only green or with lemon?" she asked and waited for the answer.
„It doesn't matter," Colton answered from the living room. Jade pulled the tea box out and turned around.
„Do you two want tea or coffee?" she asked Perrie and Jack. Both were standing by the fridge and Perrie was eating cheese Jade bought for herself the day before.
„We're good, I think we'll go and watch a movie in my room," Perrie answered after a moment and winked at Jade. Jade sighed. Just like she thought it's gonna end. Perrie gets the D and Jade has earphones and tries not to hear anything. Typical.

„Okay, so tell me what upset you earlier," Colton asked when Jade brought him his tea and tea for herself.
„It's longer story, are you sure you want to hear it?" she asked him not being sure why he wants to know. Colton just nodded so Jade started recounting.

„Oh my Gosh! Let me tell you, you're better now, it was a toxic relationship," Colton yelled after Jade finished her story. He was a good listener.
„I know I'm better now, it's just this thing.. I can't stop thinking about him, it's driving me insane," Jade sighed and Colton answered with an understanding nod.
„You deserve better," he said before he drank his tea. Jade suddenly couldn't look anywhere else. How did she not notice before how gorgeous this boy was?
„What?" Colton asked when Jade's staring got too unpleasant.
„Do I have a dirt on my face?" he started rubbing his face immediately.
„You're really handsome," Jade told him and Colton's cheeks went bright red.
„Really? Uhm.. thanks. I'm sorry, I don't know how to respond," Colton started laughing nervously. Jade slowly smiled at him making him even more nervous.
„Uhh, you're really beautiful, too, Jade," he mumbled after a few moments of silence in which both of them were just staring at the other one.
„Thank you," Jade replied and she felt her own cheeks getting the colour of ripe tomatoes.
„Would you mind if I kissed you?" Colton asked silently. Jade couldn't stop herself from laughing.
„I wouldn't," she replied simply. When they leaned in for a kiss, somebody's laugh interrupted them. Jade quickly turned around and saw Perrie walking in the kitchen and grabbing something for their freezer.
„Ice," Perrie simply said when she caught Jade's glance. Then she quickly returned upstairs and few moments later laugh could be heard from her room.
„Guess the mood is ruined," Colton said, disappointment in his voice. Jade nodded.
„Sorry," she mumbled.
„I have to stay and wait for Jack, I don't have keys from our apartment. Is that alright?" Colton asked Jade after a few minutes of silence.
„Yea, of course, we can watch something on the telly, I wouldn't be able to sleep anyway," Jade sighed as very specific noise was being heard from Perrie's room.

„Hey Jade, did you sleep well?" Perrie asked Jade the next morning. Jade gave her a look that could kill.
„What do you think? You found me lying on the sofa in our living room. No, I didn't sleep well," Jade answered. She was mad at Perrie and she didn't even know why.
„I'm sorry to hear that, I slept well," Perrie said and started making breakfast for both girls.
She knew that Jade isn't happy about her choices with boys and girls but Perrie wasn't quite able to have a real relationship, she enjoyed what she was doing.
„Did you really sleep?" Jade mumbled but Perrie decided to pretend not to hear it.
„When is your date with Jesy?" she changed the subject instead. Suddenly Jade looked all woken up.
„Oh my God, I forgot! It's in an hour. I have to get ready!" Jade sprinted to the bathroom.
Perrie decided to check her phone but had hard time finding it. For a moment she even thought Jack stole it but then she found it lying on the floor next to their fridge. How did it get there? She had no idea.
