Let's turn back the clock all the way back to when Summer first arrived in Tulsa, oh boy this will be a project! ENJOY!

The rain pounded on the roof of my house, I watched the television's glare dance on the wall and flicker from bright to dark light. I took a sip of my water and sighed. This was my Friday night, sitting at home alone. I was seventeen and already leading a pathetic life while my mother went out and partied all night. Thankfully in just a few days I was heading to Tulsa to visit my cousins for two weeks. I always had a great time there and unfortunately I haven't been able to make it down there since I was thirteen. I heard the screen door of the house open and then heard my mother attempting to unlock the door with her key. "Summer! Open the damn door stop playing games!" My mother yelled in a drunken stupor. I quickly unlocked the door for her and she nearly fell through the door. "Here, I picked up your fucking plane tickets." She said thrusting them into my hand, nearly ripping them.
"Thanks." I said as she threw her purse on the counter and opened the fridge. I looked at my plane tickets and I raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Uh, mom, these are only a one-way ticket, you know I won't be able to come back."
"Yeah, I know, you are so fucking eager to go to Tulsa, you should just stay there. You never help me out, you just cause more problems." She said. "I don't want you to come back ever. Me and Paul are getting married, I'm pregnant again."
"And you're fucking drunk out of your skull again?!" I nearly yelled.
"Yeah, bitch, I am. I'm only about two months, you can drink casually anyways." She said.
"I hate to tell you but this isn't casual drinking mom, you're going to kill your child!"
"Oh, here you go again, you think you know everything and that you're so great, why don't you have my child?" She demanded.
"Whatever mom."
"Pack your shit, you're leaving tomorrow." She said.
"Fine mom have a great life with your deadbeat boyfriend and fucked up child. Really, you aren't worthy of raising another child."
"My child will be much fucking better than you ever were, you ruined my life! You drove your father out of the house and now look at me?" She said.
"I have bags to pack mom." I said my voice cold. I ran upstairs to my room and packed my bags faster than I thought I could. I only had two small bags; I wasn't planning on bringing much. After an hour I poked my head out of my bedroom door, I could hear my mother's snoring from the couch. I snuck into her room and dialed the number I knew so well. It took a couple rings before anyone picked up; it was late in Tulsa too.
"Hello?" I heard a sleep ridden voice say.
"Hey, it's Summer." I said.
"Oh, hey Summer, it's Pony, what are you doing calling so late? Everyone is asleep."
"Well, I know that, I just wanted to know if you heard from my mother lately." I said.
"Yeah, she said she was, uh, kicking you out and sending you here but she was drunk so I didn't know if she was serious."
"Yeah, she was serious; do you think I could stay at your place?" I asked.
"Of course, the guest room is all yours." He said.
"You're sure?" I asked.
"Yeah, just come on over whenever you're ready."
"Don't you think I should talk to Darry?" I asked.
