Is Someone Out There?

The Prison and Meeting the group

Maddii's P.O.V.~

Rick decided to take us in.

As we are walking along a railroad track I see in the distance something that looks like a prison. I trust Rick but I don't know how Monika and Laurianna feel about Rick maybe I should ask them.

(M=Maddii, M=Monika,L=Laurianna)

M-"Hey how do you guys feel about this Rick guy"?

L-"He seems legit, but I'd keep my eye on him if I were you".

M-I guess I agree with Laurianna though keep an eye on him. We don't know if this is a set up or anything".

M="I guess we'll find out".

As we get up to the prison a woman with short grey hair, and a a girl with short brown hair open the gate as we set inside they stop and ask who we are.

"We found them out in the woods. This is Madilyn, Laurianna, and Monika."

"Hi. I'm Madilyn, but you can call me Maddii".

"I'm Monika, but you can call me Nika".

"I'm Laurianna, but you can call me Lauri or Anna".

"Okay well lets show you your cell and then we'll introduce you to the group".

As we get inside I see a group of people not very many though.

"This is your cell Monika, and Laurianna. Madilyn you will share a cell with Carl my son".

"Okay".

"Carl"!

A boy about my age comes out from the cell block with a surprised look.

"Dad who are they"?

"These are some girl's we found out in the woods. Introduce yourselves ladies".

"Hi i'm Monika,but you can call me Nika".

"Hi i'm Laurianna, but yoiu can call me Lauri, or Anna".

"Hi i'm Madilyn, but you can call me Maddii".

"I'm Carl, and this is my mother Lori, and my baby sister Judith".

(Authors Note: I know Lori is supposed to die giving birth to Judith, but I decided no thave her dead I hated her death!)

"Carl Madilyn will be staying in your cell".

"Okay follow me".

Carl shows me our cell he takes top I have bottom.

"Hey Carl can you show the girls around and introduce them to everybody" Rick asks?

"Yeah". Come on ladies".

As we get out everybody is sitting down eating breakfast. 

"Hey everybody this is Madilyn, Monika, and Laurianna".

"Hi" everybody says.

The with short brown hair comes up to me and says "Hi i'm Maggie Greene".

"Hi i'm Madilyn but you can call me Maddii".

"Well hello Maddii, this is my sister Beth and my daddy Hershel".

"Hi it's very nice to meet you".

They all smile at me and then leave. Carl come up to me and introduces me to his mother Lori and sister Judith.

"Hey Maddii this is my mother Lori and my sister Judith Grimes, but you can call her Judy".

"Hello Mrs. Grimes i'm Madilyn, but please call me Maddii".

"Oh my you are very polite maybe Carl can learn something from you, and please call me Lori".

Lori leaves and more people come up and introduce themselves. I've met Maggie,Beth,Hershel,Glenn,Rick,Lori,Judith,Carl,Carol,Daryl,Merle,Michonne,T-Dog,Lizzie,Mika, and Patrick. Lizzie seems a little off to me though.

"Okay Maddii,Nika, and Lauri we take shifts here we have people by the gates and people on watch in the guard towers 2 at the only 2 in the front. So Maddii go to tower one with Maggie, and Nika go to tower two with Glenn".

As we walk to the tower we make a conversation.

"What did you do before this all started"?

"I helped with my daddy's farm and went to college. What about you"?

"I went to school I don't have my parents anymore because they left me because I told them to".

"Why'd you tell them to leave without you"?

"Because they didn't wanna take my bestfriend's so I said fine go without me".

"Wow. You got some guts. Do you know where they went"?

"Yeah there in the bay area somewhere, and if you don't mind me asking, but are you, and Glenn a couple or something"?

"Ha-Ha, Yeah were married. Actually just got married a few weeks ago".

"Oh well you two make a great couple".

I start tearing up because they remind me of my parents young, nice, kind everything a child could ask for. I hope there still alive. I guess Maggie saw that I was crying.

"Why are you crying Maddii?"

"Because you and, Glenn remind me of my parents. Young, nice, and kind everything a child could ask for."

"I'm sorry about your parents, but if you don't mind me saying if we can't find your parents me, and Glenn could be your parents. How does that sound?"

"That sounds wonderful thank you Maggie."

As I hug Maggie I hear gunshots go off.

A guy named the Phillip or the Governor wanted to take the prison.

"Rick we need to talk now."

Rick says we can talk things out, but the Governor doesn't like that idea. So he tells a guy something. Than the most terrifying thing happened the guy brought out Hershel, and Michonne. Maggie is practically in tears by now with her sister. I have my gun ready to shoot. Nika and Lauri are by Daryl's side. Rick is saying something then the governor holds the knife to Hershel's neck. Rick says something else and the Governor puts the knife down and says something than bam Hershel's head gets cut off. All I hear is Maggie, and Beth screaming at the tops of their lungs wishing that never happened. Than war happened. We all got split up I found myself with Carl, and Rick.

Rick was telling Carl "Don't look back Carl, Don't look back".

I was terrified. I was wondering if Monika or Laurianna made it out alive. I was helping Rick walk while Carl was being stubborn and not helping out at all. We cleared a house and put the couch against the door. I layed Rick down on the couch and cleaned up his wounds. I wish Maggie was here with me or Glenn, but no i'm stuck here with Carl. Carl went upstairs then said that there was a girl's room upstairs. As I made my way upstairs to the room I notice Carl go into the boy's room. When I peer inside the room I see Carl looking at a gaming system. He must have been a gamer before the world fell at our feet. Carl unhooks the TV then goes to the bed and lays down. I make my way to the girl's room there are shirts and everything up here but I don't bother changing. I see pictures of the bfamily that lived here once and I break down in tears. 

This was my old home.
