We got back to my house giggling. A guy tried to ask me out until he realised who I was and sped off. I opened the door and found the King and his obeys, which means his helpers, with him. Me and Chloe gasped. Angel stood behind us.
"Ah Heather good timing." The King said.
"Hello... Gerald. Erm... how are you... today." I gulped nervously. I was shaking. They were here about Angel but who told them.
"I see that the girl is with you." He nodded towards Angel. Angel clung to me. "You know it's illegal to have a child when you are a child." I growled.
"I know I was old enough to remember what was written." He shrugged and walked towards me.
"You know full well she has to be taken away." He towered me but I didn't flinch. I glared at him.
"That won't happen." He laughed.
"Just like your mother so stubborn. My glare hardened and the sky darkened. Thunder rumbled.
"Ugh why do you have to be like this. Come on why can't you be so straight forward."
"YOU THINK YOU CAN WALZ UP IN MY HOUSE AND TELL ME TO HAND OVER A LONLEY CHILD! EVEN AFTER WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH!" I yelled. He shrugged.
"It was worth a try." I was shaking with anger. There was lightning and thunder now. Then I calmed down maybe we could make a deal. The sky cleared he smiled at me. "Ok. Maybe we could do that." I nodded.
"Chloe take Angel into her room. Stay with her." Chloe nodded and leaved me. Angel ran up to me.
"You won't let him take me will you?" She whispered.
"No." I hugged her. She hugged me back. She ran off to Chloe. The obeys went into my room.
"Ok so what do you have in mind?" Gerald said.
"Ok I will do anything for you if you let me keep Angel." I said.
"... No." He said.
"What why?" I asked surprised.
"Ok if you take her to school then you can keep her." I looked at the floor uh oh she isn't gonna like that idea.
"Anything else?" I laughed nervously.
"Maybe marry my son." He asked.
"WHAT?!" I screamed. "NO!"
"Then do the first deal. Take her to school then you can keep her. Or marry my son and keep her." I thought a second. Wait if I lie to him and teach her magic then that would be ok he didn't specifically say what.
"Deal. On the first one." I said. He held out his hand and I shook it. He smiled and boomed.
"Men we shall be leaving now." Everyone came out. "Please keep your promise Heather." I growled at him. Ha I shall keep my promise I thought. They left and Chloe and Angel looked at me.
"Angel I shall teach you about your powers first thing tomorrow. You should get some sleep." I smiled at her. She ran up to me and hugged me.
"Thank you. Night."
"Night." She walked in her room and changed. Then she soon fell asleep.
"What was the deal?" Chloe asked.
"He said I had to take her to school." I sighed.
"Ok then why did you say you were-" She stopped then looked at me. "HEATHER YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"
"What he didn't specifically say what. It was that or I marry his son." I ate a grape.
"They say his son is really handsome." I looked at her.
"I don't wanna marry someone unless I fully know what their like." She sighed.
"Ok. I'll bring round the blood tomorrow as well." I nodded.
I got changed and went to bed. In the morning we had great fun. I knew that her powers were telepathic and healing. I taughed her how to control a small bit but we had a long way to go.
