Betty's lost
Dimitri's thoughts crumpled away into the back of his mind
Betty was the kindest person I knew, and now, I might not even know her any more...
No, I can't think like that, if anyone could resist there little mind games, it's Betty
Dragging himself out of bed, Dimitri's suddenly fell back, and once again, his mind was somewhere else
Where do these damn visions keep coming from?
Dimitri recognised the first thing that came into his view, just like last time it was a steel pole in the middle of a room, with Gem tightly fastened to it
But Gem
He was bloodied and bruised
His cheek was black with bruises and his left ear was almost hanging off
Slumped down, Gem called out pathetically, " release Betty or I swear!"
It was obvious that Emily's gang had given more then a few beatings since Dimitri's last vision, but Betty was nowhere to be seen.
Dimitri feared the worst
Gem crippled back and whimpered Betty's name over and over again
This is wrong, so wrong
Dimitri would of done something, anything if he could, but all he could do is watch, watch his friend waste away in painful wonder of the whereabouts of Betty
"It's all my fault, it was my job to protect her, and I failed" whimpered Gem
Dimitri didn't know how long gem had been tied to that pole, but he didn't care, he was gonna get revenge
Suddenly, as silent as death, betty slipped into the room
"Pss, Gem!" Called out Betty
Gem was so surprised he fell back in awe
" I, I don't understand" stuttered Gem
" it's me idiot" smiled Betty
Everything seems ok, Betty was dressed in the same thing as she wore when they took her away
I knew she could do it!
" how did you escape, no one ever escapes..." Signed Gem
"Dude, it's ok, chill, they thought I was changed, but I'm not as weak as they thought I was, I escaped out the vents" smiled Betty
A warm glow spread across Gem face as Betty untied him
"It's really still you?" Wondered Gem
" yes, don't you trust me?" Grinned Betty
Gem paused for a second
" of course!" Beamed Gem
" so let's stop talking and get a hell out of here!" Said Betty
Gem nodded, pulled himself up on the pole, and the pair of them crept up to the door
Without warning, a pulsing ball of white hot fire burst through the door and a short boy with ragged blonde hair marched into the room.
After Betty and Gem had recovered they realised who was standing in front of them
" Amadeus" whispered Gem
" ah, you remember me Gem, didn't think your tiny brain would be able to cope" smirked Amadeus
" how could we forget you" muttered Betty
Who's this jackass?
"Ever since Paris last year, you think we would forget a monster like you, you surrendered youself over to morath, and dident help the onama you were assigned to protect, and they died" whispered Gem in a hidden fury
" psh, they weren't worth my time" snarked Amadeus
Woah, this guys a rogue guardian, but why would you choose to join the morath?
As Dimiti's mind as spiralled with thought, the vision continued,
" I've had a fireball with your name on it for a very long time Gem" exclaimed Amadeus as he lit on up on the palm of his hand
" wait, you got powers now? You were one of us, a guardian before you turned" questioned Gem, confused
" ah yes, but, as ever, the morath are one step ahead of all you fools" laughed Amadeus
The ball of flame grew larger
"Piss off dude, we're getting out of here" snarked Betty
A vicious mindset fell over Amadeus, with one flick of his wrist, a fireball went hurling into Gems leg
"Sahhhh!" Screamed Gem
No!
"Gem! Dude!" Shouted betty leaping next to him
"Oh..." Whimpered Gem as he looked down at his smoking leg
"Not as indestructible as you thought?" Sneered Amadeus
If this dude doesn't piss off, I'm going down there myself
"Ah Betty, just calm down, it's gonna be fine, I need you to jump us out of here, I can't move" said Gem weakly
" but, I've never ported that far before, we, we might end up in a wall" stuttered Betty
" yawn, when you two are done trying to be 'heroes' or whatever crap, I can get back to roasting you" exclaimed Amadeus
"We went through this in class, you can do it, just picture we you wanna go, how about your dorm" muttered Gem
"No wonder I always beat you at the academy Gem, I bet this bitch is more of a fighter then you" grinned Amadeus
"Do it betty, just try" instructed Gem
With a snarling laugh, Amadeus lit up another ball of fire and sent it hurling towards Betty's chest
With a deep breath, betty lifted herself and Gem up, closed her eyes, and the pair disappeared before the projectile struck.
The last thing Amadeus saw was Gems middle finger, boldly straight
But something bothered Dimitri, Amadeus didn't look upset, he just smirked, like he knew something...
No, I can't worry about that, where the hell are Betty and Gem?
If by magic, Dimitri was back, staring at the dull celling of his dorm, and the first thing he heard was a long thud in the room next to him
"Betty's room" muttered Dimitri
