My husband hasn't called me in a while. I wonder if his work is done. Maybe I should call him. No, he told me never to do that. Oh I'm so worried,
"Henry! Laura! Brooke!" I call for my 3 adorable, smart children.
"Coming Mom!" The twin girls shout down.
"Coming Mother!" Henry exclaims.

After they all come downstairs we sit in the living room. Laura sits on the couch with Henry, Brooke sits on the floor in front of Laura.
"Kids, dads going to be coming home late, I thought maybe while we wait we could play a game?" I explain. A flash of the thoughts run across each of their faces.
"Uhh... Mom, what's the real problem?" Henry asks me.
"Your father is coming home late and I thought we could do something fun while we are waiting!" I say, in a more happy tone.
"Mommy? Is daddy ditching us for his work?" Little sweet Brooke asks.
"No sweetheart, he has just been very busy with his work." I answer her, to be honest, I have no idea what he is doing.

After the kids agree with the new idea I go to the game closet, Cranium looks good. The twins may be 11 but they are REALLY smart! Henry won't care. *ring ring* Oh my phone is ringing,
"Hello?" I answer my phone.
"Hey honey, it's Brady," My husband says over the phone.
"Oh, hi dear. What time will you be home?" I ask him.
"Yeah, so that's the thing," He pauses, "I won't be home until about Friday night," he continues.
"What?! You said you'd be home for the Henry's 19th birthday! His birthday is in 3 days!" I shout at him. His birthday is on Thursday, today is Monday.
"I know," he responds in a calmer monologue of tone, "He'll understand, right? I have a ton of patients, I'm the best doctor here, and they want me to stay here until they are all done."
"Okay, but you have to make it up to him," I tell my husband.
