The darkness is consuming me. It is all that I can see and hear. I am cut off from the real world. Darkness is the only thing I am. I will destroy anything that stands in my path. I don't believe in love for it is against my rules. My name is (F/n), and I am the lord of darkness, a monster, the Demon Warlock is the one that I must kill.

Garroth's POV

I swiftly jumped out of bed and put on my armour. I ran out of the guard station and towards Aphmau's house. I knocked on her door and Zoey opened it holding Levin in her arms. "Hey Garroth! Do you need Aphmau", she asked me. "No I'm looking for Malachi", I stated. "He is upstairs in his room", Zoey smiled. "Okay, thank you Zoey", I started walking up the stairs to Levin and Malachi's room. I slowly opened the door and saw Malachi playing with the blocks. I knocked on the wall to get his attention. He looked over at me. "Oh hey Garroth! What do you need", Malachi smiled. "I need your help Malachi. Can you show me my greatest fear, please", I pleaded. "Are you sure Garroth", Malachi questioned. "I'm positive", I replied. "Okay here we go", Malachi started glowing and I started seeing my worst fear right in front of me. (F/n) was wearing all black and pulled back a bow and aimed right at me. "(F/n)?! What are you doing", I stared at her. Her eyes were just plain black she looked like she was being controlled by someone. "I am the lord of darkness, I destroy anything that stands in my way to kill the demon warlock", she spoke strongly. The vision ended and I stood there in shock. "That sounded pretty real to me Garroth", Malachi said shakily. "I... Need to go. Thank you Malachi", I left the house and went to go check on (F/n). It can't be true. (F/n) wouldn't hurt me. Right? I opened the door to her house and walked inside. I went upstairs to her room and found her sitting on her bed staring out the window.

Your POV

My eyes fluttered open and I stared at the roof. I felt a pain in my side but I managed to sit up. I looked out of my window and started humming a tune. (You can play the music now. Don't continue reading until the song ends)

I took a deep breath then clutched my side. It was starting to really hurt. "Do you need anything", I heard someone say. I turned around and saw Garroth leaning on the door frame. "How long have I been out", I asked laying back down still clenching my side. "You've only been passed out for only a day. Do you need anything", he took of his helm and smiled. "Water and something to eat would be great", I smiled back. "Okay I'll be right back".

A few minutes later Garroth came in with a tray with a sandwich and a glass of water. He placed it on the table beside me. "Thank you", I sat up and took a bite of the sandwich. He pulled up a chair beside my bed and sat down. "So, how are you feeling", he looked down at my side. "It still hurts", I covered the wound with my hand. "But other than that I feel perfectly fine", I smiled. Garroth bit the bottom of his lip as if he were hiding something. "Garroth? Is there something that you aren't telling me", I questioned him. "No. Not at all", he managed to give me a fake smile. "Garroth? I can tell when something is on your mind", I replied. "It's nothing, really. You should get some rest, I have to go on patrol. I'll come check on you later today", he sighed as he stood up. "Okay. Bye Garroth", I frowned and rolled onto my good side which faced away from him. "Rest well", he said as he closed the door behind him. Something is going on and I'm determined to find out what it is.

Hope you all enjoyed and I am so sorry that this took so long to come out. It's hard to update 8 books.
