The brothers and the fallen angel had been working on a case after they solved the case and killed the shapeshifter they went back to the hotel and decided to review what happened which pretty much meant that the brothers would tell Castiel what he should do next time he was still getting a grip on hunting without his powers.

''Just next time stay behind us.'' Sam said giving Cas a smile.

Dean was on Sam's laptop he let out a long sigh getting Sam's attention.

''Dude what's wrong with you?'' Sam asked facing Dean

''I'm just saying man we've been killing evil sons of bitches and you know now that the case is over we should go swimming.'' Sam let out a laugh while Cas looked concerned

''Dude since when do you want to go swimming in a crappy hotel pool?'' Sam scoffed

''You shut up we are going swimming right Cas?''

They all headed towards the pool Dean stripped of his shirt and Sam took off his many layers of clothes before they both jumped in leaving a fully trench coated Cas on the deck watching the brothers. Sam started doing laps in the pool while Dean just floated in the water the sun burning down on them.

''Cmon Cas!'' Dean called ''Take those clothes off and come in.'' Dean chuckled at how dirty it sounded but Cas was clueless as always. Castiel took of his trench coat and unbuttoned his shirt then took of his pants (You know how getting undressed looks like why explain it?) He stood there in his boxers shivering.

''Okay good job Cas now come into the water.'' Dean said while Sam watched clearly interested

''Dean I-'' Cas was cut off Dean had gotten out of the water and threw him into the pool Cas had no idea how he was able to get out without him noticing but needless to say that was the last of his concern he didn't know how to swim.

He heard the brothers laughter as he sunk deeper into the water till everything became a blur then darkness.

Castiel first saw Dean's green eyes then his whole face, Dean held Castiel in his arms Dean's breathes  were heavy Cas started coughing up water his eyes burned from the chlorine it was all he could taste everything was still a blur.

''Dammit Cas...'' Dean trailed off still holding onto Cas

''Dean I can't swim.'' His voice was hoarse he let out another cough

''Yeah I got that.'' Dean lifted Castiel and put his arm around him. Sam quickly ran up to them both his hair slicked back and a towel wrapped around his waist

''Holy shit Cas!'' Sam wrapped his arms around Cas who broke out into a fit of coughs ''I'll start the car sooner we leave this place the better.'' Sam patted Cas on the back and ran inside.

''Cas...'' Dean started his voice cracked ''I'm sorry man I just figured you could swim.'' You could see how guilty he felt he left his arm around Cas not ready to let go.

''Dean it's fine-'' Dean waved his hand letting him know he wasn't done talking ''How can I make it up to you?'' Dean asked a glimmer of hope shined in his eyes.

''Teach me how to swim.'' Castiel said leading Dean back towards the pool. Dean was about to protest but figured it was the best idea the ex-angel had in a while it overall made sense. They both walked into the pool the water touched their waist.

''Alright hold onto me.'' Dean wrapped his arm around Cas and swam into the deeper end of the pool Castiel began panicking not wanting the same thing to happen again. The water reached his neck he tightened his grip on Dean.

''Woah easy tiger.'' Dean said laughing ''I got you I won't let go.'' Dean laid Castiel on his back and wrapped his hands around Cas keeping him afloat. They both lost themselves in the water as they both floated holding hands so they wouldn't drift away from each other. A horn sounded they both opened their eyes Sam was in the car waiting for them both they quickly got out of the pool and wrapped the towels around themselves and headed towards the car the sun setting in the back filling the sky with bright colors.
