(Carly's POV) I tried keeping my breaths calm and even until Sarah came. "Nadir, stop pacing. You're creating a draft." I breathed out.

Sarah ran into the room as quickly as she could and set her bag down. "Carly, how to do you feel?" She asked.

"I'm well." I breathed out. "It's him that I'm worried about." I said as I pointed to Nadir.

She looked at Nadir and pointed at the door. "Out. Erik is downstairs. Git." He didn't need to be in the room.

Nadir shook his head. "I'm staying." I looked at him. "Love, go. I'll be alright." I whispered. It took him a while, but he finally left.

"Are you comfortable?" She asked as she looked at me.

"Well, I'm giving birth, so not too comfortable." I said, trying to laugh.

Sarah laughed. "Well, other than that?"

"Other than that, I'm fine." I said. Then I remembered my dream. I've been having it every night. "I chose the baby if anything happens."

"Nothing will happen." She stated firmly. "I don't want you thinking that. Understand?"

I nodded. "I understand."

"Good." She sat down beside me. "How far apart are your contractions?"

"Let's just say that Lu-" I then screamed. "Luke's coming now!"

Sarah gasped and quickly got me into position. "Push!" She shouted to me as she did this. What seemed like hours, I gave a final push and I fell back against the pillows.

Sarah caught my child and bathed him quickly before wrapping him up and handing the bundle to me. "You were right. It is a son."

I smiled weakly and held my son tightly. "Hello, Luke Addison Khan." I whispered softly. I looked up at Sarah, "Can you get Nadir?"

She nodded and walked out of the room and to the head of the stairs. "Nadir?" She shouted down it.

I smiled down at my son and kissed his forehead. I soon heard footsteps hurrying up the steps. I looked up at Nadir, "I did it." I smiled again

Sarah stood in the background as Nadir hurried forward. We had our little moment together with our newest child. I then saw Sarah wince out of the corner of my eye.

(Sarah's POV)

I bit my lip and covered my stomach as a shot of pain ran through me.

"Sarah?" Carly asked as she sat up a little.

I took a deep breath and tried to smile. "Well, I think Luke isn't the only who decided to make their appearance."

Carly gasped and quickly handed Luke over to Nadir. "Sarah, lay down." She said as shs moved to stand up.

"Don't you dare!" I shouted as I walked over to her and pushed her back down. "You are staying in bed."

"You're the one giving birth!" She said.

"And, you're the one who just gave birth! I had Mike underground with a husband who barely did anything." I said as I sat down and gritted my teeth. "I am pretty sure I can handle this."

"Your husband helped you give birth!" She said. "He can do it again!" She said and then quickly called for Erik.

Erik bolted up the stairs and I looked over at him. "Erik, we have a problem." I said through a wince of pain.

"What is it? What's wrong?" He asked quickly.

"You brought Mike into the world. Ready to help Charlotte?" I asked.

He nodded immediately. "Yes," I said. "Of course."

I grinned and then looked at Carly. "We'll be in your guest bedroom." I didn't want to interrupt their bonding time with Luke. I stood up and began to try to walk out the door.

Erik didn't even let me try, he scooped me up and carried me to the room.

I settled myself on the bed and took a few calming breaths. "You may have a future in maternity ward." I said with a chuckle.

He laughed a little. "Yes, I may."

I laughed with him but it ended in a hiss of pain. "Charlotte's in a hurry." I muttered.

"Breath." He whispered. "Just breath."

"I'll try to remember." I said sarcastically as I gripped the sheets on the bed.

A long while later, Erik was holding a beautiful baby girl in his arms. "She looks like you." He whispered as he looked down at our daughter.

I looked at him and held out my arms to take the baby. My vision swirled and then turned black as I collapsed against the bed.

(Erik's POV)

"Sarah?!" I gasped. "Sarah?!" I said again. I moved towards her and used one arm to hold the baby and one arm to gently pat Sarah's cheek. Sarah didn't move.

"Sarah! Please wake up!" I begged as I felt tears come to my eyes. "Please!" Sarah still didn't react.

"Sarah!" I cried. "Please! Wake up!" I screamed through my tears. Lotte began to cry due to my screaming.

(Sarah's POV)

As I woke up, my head felt horrible and I heard my baby and someone else screaming.

"Thank goodness." Erik whispered. "You're awake." He said as he kissed me. "Never do that again. You scared me and Lotte." He said as he handed her to me.

I took my baby into my arms and smiled slightly up at him. "I don't know what happened. I just couldn't stay conscious."

"It's alright." He said softly. "You're here now."

"I think so." I whispered. I still felt very weak. Too weak.

"You're here." He stated as he sat down beside me. "You're not leaving."

"Erik, I shouldn't be this weak." I said softly.

"What's wrong?" He whispered.

"I don't know." I whispered back and began to feed Lotte. "Maybe this is normal and I was just running on adrenaline last time.

He nodded. "Maybe so. You'll be alright." He said as he stood up. "Rest." He whispered. "We are staying the night."

I sighed. "I don't think I can do anything but rest." I whispered.

He nodded. "That's what I want you to do."

"I love you." I whispered as I situated Lotte into a more comfortable position and closed my eyes to take a short nap.

(Erik's POV)

"I love you too." I whispered as I held them both while I took a nap as well.
