The ride to my house was.. weird. Tyler was silent, looking out the window. I had music playing, but he turned it off. I tried to start a conversation. Then realized that it probably hurts to talk. After about ten minutes we arrived at my house. One of the largest in town. Tyler got out of the car and gaped.
“This is your house!?” He stated as we walked up to it.
“Uh huh!” I pulled him faster. We got up to the door. I sighed.
“What’s wrong?”
“My mom is home.. she works from home.” I said. Staring at the door.
“You can get the stuff and bring it out here..?” He suggested.
“No.. that would be going behind them. I can’t do that.” I opened the door. “Mom! I’m home and I have a friend!” I shouted and grabbed Tylers wrist and ran as fast as I could to my bedroom. We got there I was panting. It’s a big house.
“Are you seriously tired?” Tyler asked, laughing.
“No! I’m stressed. Stay here for a sec, we gotta clean you up before you can meet my parents.” I went to the bathroom and grabbed the first aid kit and a wet rag to clean his face. I ran back to my room and locked the door behind me. “I’m back. Sit on the bed.”
“Alright.. I don’t want to get blood on your stuff..”
“Tyler, it’s fine. Sit.” He sat. “Good boy.”
“I’m not a dog!”
“Calm down! Don’t shout..”
“Sorry.”
“Anyway, let me get you cleaned up.” I proceeded to tend to his face. I accidently pushed too hard on the cut.
“Ouch!” His hand shot up and slapped me hard enough to send me across the room.
“I’m sorry!” I cried “I didn’t mean to hurt you!”
“N-no.. I’m the one who’s sorry. I.. shouldn’t have reacted that way.” He pulled me up. “I can put the bandage on myself.” He picked up the bandage from the floor and put it on his face.
“Well then.. ready to meet my parents? My daddy should be home..” I said hesitantly.
“Do you honestly think this is a good idea?” He said, sitting on the bed again. “I’m not just the child of a demon.. I’m cursed..”
“Huh?” Cursed?
“Because of the actions of my father.. I’m cursed.”
“How so?”
“This angel woman was angry at my father. So she cursed me, to where everyone I.. everyone I kiss..” His voice trailed off. Wha!? Crap.. he kissed me earlier.. what does this mean?
“Tyler..” I said closing my eyes. I sighed. “Tyler, earlier you kissed me. What does this do to me?” He put his face in his hands.
“Everyone I kiss.. gets...”
“Gets what!?”
“Get’s a bit of demon in them. Angel, human, it doesn’t matter. They’ll slowly turn more and more demon-like. The stereotypical demon I mean. The classic jerks..” What!?
“What the hell!?” He looked at me like I had just done a crime. “Ahhhh shit..” I covered my mouth. “What am I saying.. Tyler.. I.” He hugged me.
“I’m sorry.. I’m so sorry. It’s my fault. Your parents can’t know about this. Okay?”
“What?! You expect me to hide it!?” I shrieked.
