**Cali's P.O.V**

"I honestly don't understand why I'm friends with you" Simon says to me as I grab his bag of chips off the counter.

"Who wouldn't want to be my friend honestly think about it" I say laughing and shove a chip in my mouth.

"I can name a lot of people" Simon says jokingly. I nod and pretend to care what he's saying.

"So what are we doing today" I question him, "We aren't doing anything" he says grabbing his chips back.

"Well then" I say and put my hand over my chest.

"don't you have school tomorrow" he says I nod and take my phone out of my pocket. "Unlike you, I have to be in that place people call hell" I say to him.

He shakes his head and laughs "why don't you ask your mom to do online school?" he questions "I have and the only thing she does is walk out of the room because she's on the phone" I say rolling my eyes.

He nods understanding everything that's happened in my life.

"Maybe I can talk to her" he says.
"No it's fine" I tell him I've always like how Simons always their for me we've known each other since 7th grade he was my first real friend but now he's getting really well known on social media. 

"Oh hey Cali didn't know you we're here" Mrs.Britton said to me as she walked down the stairs.

"Hey yeah I was just about to leave" I say to her. "Oh well, come back for dinner?" She ask.

"Um yeah sure thanks" I tell her and wave goodbye. Simon comes outside with me.

"I'll see you at dinner, text me later" he says i nod and hug him goodbye.
