Jenna's POV:

Today was the big day, the day my first single came out. I was so nervous. I didn't know if people were gonna like it, or if people were gonna change the channel every time it came on on the radio. This was my first single, so it's supposed to say a little about me and how I am. I have always wanted to become a country artist. I love writing songs and I love country music. I look up to so many different artists. People like Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, Kenny Chesney, Danielle Bradbery, and even Hunter Hayes. There are so many more. Country music is just so amazing. There are great people involved in country music, and country songs always have a story behind it. People can be true to themselves and to their fans in country music, and that's why I want this song to do good. I'm not expecting it to be everyone's favorite song, obviously, but I want people to hear my music and relate to it.

I already had amazing support from some other country artists. Kacey Musgraves invited me to go out on tour with her. I was excited to hear that news, considering I look up to Kacey. She's such an amazing songwriter. The tour starts in September and ends in May. Right now, it's July and I am just performing at several fairs and festivals, and trying to start out.

Today, I was going to the studio to work with one of the most amazing producers, Dan Huff. I just got done with a ton of interviews, so I am heading over to the studio now. When I get there, I walk in and see that Dan is working with another artists, then I realize it's Hunter Hayes. They both turn around and see me. I say hi and smile. They say hi back and tell me that I can come in.

I walk in and Dan says, "Sorry, we're running a little late here. We just got an idea, and we didn't want to forget it, so we are working on it right now. "

"Oh no, it's totally fine. Not a problem at all," I reply back.

Once they're done, Hunter walks out and comes over to me.

"Hi, I'm Hunter. " He puts his hand out.

I shake his hand and say, "Hi, I'm Jenna. "

"Well, nice to meet you Jenna. I have heard about you. I hear you're really talented. I-I would love to hear you sing a track. "

"Oh well, thank you. Well, if you want to stick around for a little bit, I'll be recording in a few minutes. Unless you have somewhere to be, it's totally fine," I say.

"Well, I don't have anywhere to be for another couple of hours, so I'll stick around for a little bit," He says.

I start getting everything ready, and then I go to record a track. The entire time, I feel so nervous knowing Hunter is listening. I luckily get through the track and step out of the room. Hunter comes over and tells me

"Wow, you have a great voice!"

I laugh. I start to blush. "Thanks!"

"That was really good, Jenna," Dan says.

"Thank you," I smile.

"Well, we are just going to record some tracks today, so we'll probably only be here for a few hours," Dan says.

"Ok, sounds good," I reply.

"Ok, I guess I better go so you guys can do your thing. It was great meeting you Jenna, and again, you sound amazing! " Hunter says.

"Thank you so much! Nice meeting you, too. "

Hunter leaves, and Dan and I continue our session. Once we're done, we both go home.

Once I'm home, I flop onto my couch and turn on the TV. There is really nothing on TV. I just feel like listening to music, so I turn on the radio. All of a sudden, I hear the beginning of a very familiar song. Oh my gosh, it was my song!!!!!! I can't believe it. I am hearing my song on the radio. I start jumping around and singing along. I have worked so hard for this day to come, and it's finally here. I start to text some family members and my friends. They all said they were so proud of me. They have supported me through every single thing. I can thank them for having my song playing on the radio.
