SNAP, CRACKLE, POP!

The only thing that was making any sort of noise in my entire house was my bowl of Kellogg's Rice Krispies. My mother was working the late shift at the hospital, meaning I won't be seeing her until I come home from school. I finish the very last of my bowl of cereal, I turn my head to look at the clock on the stove it glowed 7:05, I start to panic. I throw my empty bowl into the sink and dash up the stairs as quick as my chicken legs can carry me. I turn into my bedroom to see a figure sitting on my bed.

"You realize you only have 10 minutes to get change, brush your teeth, and drive to school."

"Yes, I realize that and it would be a lot easier to get ready if my aggravating brother would get out of my room."

"Will do little sister, the minute you tell me why you didn't wake me up when you got up?"

"If you can't tell I just woke up myself."

"8 minutes" my brother says while walking out of my room to go into his.

"Oh shut up Will!" I yell before ripping through my closet, making a large mess in my room that I will clean later, to get to the oversized black hoodie and dark wash jeans i was looking for.

I can hear Will starting up his F-150 Ford truck all the way from my second floor room. This is a sign to hurry my ass up or he is going to pull off without me. With that I sprint down the stairs, slip on my all black vans and grab my backpack. I rush out the door to see my brother already half way down our block on his way to school.

At that very moment in time, I realize the only way i will get a ride to school will be from the school's bad boy also my neighbor...
