"So what are you in here for? Suicide fail? Are you Bulimic?"

The patter of the rain smoothed out the harshness in his voice. I looked out the window, watching the droplets of rain fall off the leaves of a nearby tree.

"Nothing of the sort." I answered

It must of not been the answer he was looking for, he lets out a humorless laugh.

"It's not good to lie you know? Especially to yourself, they say everything starts with yourself. Maybe if you'd just accept your flaws that would make everything easier"

I chuckled "Is that so?"

This boy is so naïve it amazes me. I continue to stare out the window, I have always found comfort in the rain. If I could go out right now and play in it I would, but they never let anyone out of this hell hold.

"What are you thinking about?" His fingers feather my wrist taking me out of my trance . I catch a glimpse of the long jagged scars, starting at his wrist and making their way up to his elbow, where they stop.

"How did you get those?" I look up into his eyes and see a hint of emotion but it soon passes away.

"Haven't you heard that curiosity killed the cat?" He says with the slightest smirk. It was enough to make any girl go mad.

I smiled up at him.

"Good thing I'm not a cat."
