So before you read the book. I want to dedicate this chapter to LadyCailou.
Chapter One: Your face looked like a sunken ship at the Carribean
I woke up with an annoyance in my face as I turn to look at my broken clock, again. I guess having alarm clocks powered your inner brutally as I mentally remembered, I have no more money to buy a new one. I guess, since breaking 5 clocks within two weeks would not be a great help, I grone in hesitation going out of my bed and do my daily routines.
I walk to the kitchen as I saw my Mom preparing for breakfast and my little brother,Milo was only making it worst. You see, my Mom's not that great cook but somehow she still manages to do so.
I smile as I saw the Smiley face on my pancake. Probably, it took an hour after she finally got it right without having it overcooked. She wiped the sweat off of her forehead while she beams her eyes at what it seemed like a masterpiece to her.
I ate the whole thing beginning to hear a name my Mom muttered which I don't clearly heard or probably it's just my imagination hearing 'Blake Collins' name. "Honey, someone will be stay here at our house." My Mom said casually not bothering what I would react.
I stop with a look on my face. "And who may that be, Mom?" I ask blankly having no guesses in mind.
"That would be me..." a voice spoke behind me. I freeze in my spot sending slight shiver on my spine as my mind flew through any thoughts. It can't be happening, really? Pretty much in any minute by now, I'll be wishing why I was even Cassie Jones.
I look at my Mom, seeing a Cheshire cat on Alice in Wonderland smiling at me like she just won the lottery or something, my lips quiver at the sight. Okay, back for the dramatic entrance.
"Y-y-You...." I turn pointing my finger while stuttering in utter disbelief. Am I dreaming? Like the most horrifying scene becomes real in a blink of an eye.
"Yes, me...." Said the awful smirking monster. Okay, let me tell you about this guy. His name is Blake Collins, a guy who loved to annoy me when I was 6. He's that kind of guy that girls would fall for immediately and who would make my life here worst than it already was.
"Pleasure to meet you again, Mrs. Jones." He bowed at my Mom which my Mom instantly becomes his fan girl gigling like a teenager making me roll my eyes. I eyed him intensely, this is the boy who became my mortal enemy when I was staying at my grandmother's house when I was 6. This was the boy who pushed me so hard I fell on the tree with an injured butt. And this was the boy who intentionally puts me through a fear of heights.
"You can't stay here..." I say through gritted teeth baffled by the sudden boast of confidence. My mother shoots me a glare as I found Blake grinning finding the scene rather amusing.
"Long time no see, Cassie." He said looking from top to bottom stopping at my chest, basically I was not prepared for a visitation. I wore my T-shirt which had a Harry Potter prints and a regular shorts. I wrapped my arms at my chest feeling my cheeks flaired red. Like what-the!?
"Blake!!!!!" He chuckles slightly at my response, setting me a full view for his muscular body as I gently bite my lip as I saw how his muscles flexes that his shirts tightly grips. Dang! How did he got that body? I mean, even me. It's hard to work that?
Like really, Cassie?
Stupid teenage hormones!
My Mother coughs at my remark passing through between Blake and I, crossing my arms at my chest.
"Excuse me ladies, I have to go to work. And honey, be KIND." Mom emphasizes, Do I really need to? With him!? she glared as a warning eventually, I nodded. She sends her hugs and kisses mouthing her goodbye's.
"DONE checking me out?" He said. I cut out of my thoughts shaking my head lightly giving him a snort.
"I know, you want me so bad." He retorded as my cheeks replace from embrassement to anger. You jerk!
I was about to punch him when my brother launches at him, catching him in one hand. "Finally, someone I could teamed up with!!!" My brother yells at joy pairing it with the high-five thing.Oh boy...I face palm myself. Literally.
"Your face looked like a sunken ship at the Caribbean." He cooes then this came up, so weirdly.
"Hmmm... 11 years, I'm impressed of what I see in here and it's definitely, hot." He replied in his husky tone, jumping in surprise, locking my eyes at him.
"You sure you're in the right mind, Blake? Cause you might have a car accident before you got here." I replied in sarcastic tone.
"Nope. I got on a bus when I got here so there's no need to worry, Cassie." He walks towards me patting my head, messing my hair completely.
"It doesn't look like it." I muttered purposely to let him hear it as he goes to living room.
