At the top, meet and greet our Bad Girl, Miss Kim Halsey :)Honestly, I don't know who's this model but anyway she will be seen a lot more in this chapter. Hope you enjoy!
Chapter Nine: Here comes your Bad boy
We went to the cafeteria but of course we sat near at the corner the three of us- Mia, Kim and me. My eyes wander in each tables, if you ask me if I missed Blake? I huffed.
Completely not.
I'm only curious where did he go. I mean he's new here and basically he needs my accompany as well. He didn't knew anybody.
Yeah, that's all. No more, no less.
"Earth on Cassie. Hello?" Said Mia trying to catch my attention her head blocking my sight.
"Yep, I'm here." I said in a high pitch tone. Why am I talking so high pitch? Anyway I grab my skittles from my bag, I stole it from Milo's room he's the reason why I could eat a bunch of sweets whenever I feel grumpy or just trying to annoy my brother.
Don't tell him, I said so.
"Hey! Where did you get that?!" Mia whined grabbing green ones without any permission.
"I stole it from Milo. Trust me when I say that boy can surely make his own room a candyshop and Mom doesn't even know it unless I'll make a move." I continually confess while chewing some.
Boy, he really do idolize the witch from Hansel and Gretel. Where do he gets it anyway?
"Sneaky." Kim comment with a slight bobbing of the head."Wow, your brother sounds so amazing. But right over here, Kim eats all the food in the refrigerator and I have to hide some for myself." She said, her eyes twinkles at the sound of candy then pointing her finger at Kim who is basically not interested in doing the talking, cupping her side cheek. Her black panther T-shirt expresses her 'Bad Girl' appeal.
"You both came from a wealthy family, Mia. Food is not a problem." I conclude back at her.
"Yeah, well it is when you get a twin sister who ates it all!" Mia smile cheekily at Kim with a peace sign.
"What? It's a free country." Kim argued back then shrugs like nothing happened.
"Hey, what's all you, girls talking about?" A deep voice interrupts us and by the looks of it, he's on his way sitting next to Mia eventually finding his arm to Mia's shoulder. Yup, you know it. It's Alex.
"Oh yes, we're talking about how can I cut your arm this very moment with a cheese crater if you don't get it off." Mia stated slapping his arm off then standing up fixing the crinkles on her skirt.
"Such sweet threat, my love." Alex replied not even affected.
"Oh it's going to happen." Grabbing her books then walking away not sparing a glance at Alex who had a smug look on his face.
"Is she PMSSING?" Alex question with a clueless expression, I chuckled at that thought. She really did make turn him a chaser.
"Trust me she's worse when that day comes." Kim inserted in eating her French fries.
"We all are." I agreed as well, Alex wide eyes bulge following Mia leaving both of us, Kim bursting into fits of laughter.
"That made him run away."
"I'm so voting for MILEX." I blurted out.
Just when you least expect it. Here comes Blake Collins walking in his glory towards us. He winkes at me making me roll my eyes absent-mindedly. Yup, when I see Blake expect me rolling my eyes at him like it's a natural thing I do."Awww."Kim nudges me then whispers at my ear.
"Here comes your Bad boy."
He's not mine.
But there's a tiny voice in my head telling me the exact opposite. Uh-uh no way. The day I'm going to like him is the day an Apple tree bears an orange one.
"Kim, he's a bad idea." I gave her a flat stare.
"As far as I've observe, you Cassie never been taken out of your bubble. See right here?" She swirls her pointing finger at my space."No one got under your skin, Cassie rather than that Badboy who's got an eye for you. Not even us, your bestfriends." She added more but I was about to open my mouth she interrups me backing me off on anything I wanted to say by saying this words:
"Sometimes there are moments in life you need to take risks. And you my friend, need a day to experience that." She insisted her eyes gleaming at me with seriousness. Do I need help that much?
I need a day. For what?
To spend outside my comfort zone.
"What are you trying to say?" I replied my voice laced with confusion."Uh-mmm. Darling, It's going to ruin the fun and it's for you to find out." She winked at me then flashes her smile. Truth be told, it's pretty rare for Kim to act that way plus smile nonchalantly at me. That's absurd. In the real world, Kim Halsey don't smile like that earlier. Her smile means something, turning her back at me she mouthed 'Goodluck' on her way outside my mind still battling in which sides.
"Did you eat?" I broke off my thoughts. I didn't notice he was sitting right next to me grabbing a coke. I curse to myself but restraining it while casually biting my lip.
"Yep, I ate apples today." I replied popping the 'P' word.
And I'm still hungry."Just apples? Nothing more?" He asked quiet amused in my reply arching his eyebrow.
"Yes?" It came out as question more than a statement. He chuckles at my chosen word.
"You require more than an apple, Sweetpea." I smack him but I found myself giggling instead.
Can't deny that at the hand.
"Come on, let's get you something" He stood up handing me his hand.
"But we barely got 5 minutes." I practically mumble between my breaths catching a glance at the School's clock.
"You're such a good girl, Cassie."
A/N:
Yoo? What's up? So what do you think of Kim? Tell me, cause I will read it 😄 And she's not your typical Bitchy friend, if you probably thought that. It's really short. But how about the team-up with MILEX? My characters are too wrapped up so you might want some clear ups about that. Just ask me :) Any questions? I don't mind harsh comments cause it means that I need to make it better. This is my first book actually so as much as possible. I need your advice.
Plus the upcoming chapter would be quiet fun.
Just continue reading.
