*Levys pov*
"Levy you are too small... go out and eat or something." He jabbed at me with his arms crossed.
"What did you just say to me? !" I gawked at the large dark haired man.
I never understood it; I was either too short, too small, or too weak for his liking. I'm not entirely sure why he even bothered trying to help when he just sat there and insulted me every chance he got.
Ive honestly tried to wrap my mind around it but I have failed more than once. I was one of the only people in the guild he'd be caught dead with but his hostile defenses were up even around me.
"Im saying you need more meat on your bones, Kid." Gajeel retorted.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING KID, YOU TIN CAN!" I shouted back, overwhelmed with annoyance.
A few of the guild members begun to snicker at the sight. They found it amusing how much Gajeel and I fought, screaming at each other yet never leaving each other's side.
I've been questioned, on several occasions, about how the two of us manage to work together when we are such opposites. I could never think about leaving him. Even though he wont admit it, he'd be lost without me to save his sorry ass all the time.
I can't even count the number of times I've talked him out of some serious trouble with our master. He causes an unbelievable amount havoc.
"TIN CAN? IS THAT THE BEST YOU GOT SMALL FRY?!" Gajeel growled back, leaning over me like a tower with steel piercings.
"IM NOT SMALL, GAJEEL I SWEAR ONE DAY IM GOING TO HAVE YOUR HEAD ON A DAMN SPIKE!"
That wasn't true obviously. Other than Lucy, Gajeel was my closest friends. I could never think of actually taking his life. He didn't piss me off that much.
But I cant say that i certainly havent been angry enough that i havent at least thought of strangling him. because I certainly have, i'd imagine he feels the same.
The water wizard, Juvia, made her way towards us with a grim expression on her porcelain features.
"Juvia hates to see you to fight. Please stop fighting!" She begged politely.
I never really got why Juvia spoke in the third person, like she wasnt herself. But I learned to get used to it no matter how unnatural i thought it sounded.
"I'm sorry, Juvia. Gajeel is just a pain in the ass." I chimed, giving her a smile.
"I'm a pain in the ass?!" He questioned, flashing me a very offended look.
I turned around to face him. "Yes. You are a pain in the ass."
"Listen here book nerd. Im not a pain in the ass you are just a wimp." He glared.
I snickered.
"What?" He frowned.
"Now look who can't make insults." I laughed.
"I'm obviously spending to much time with you. I mean look, you're rubbing off on me. Next thing you know I'll have my own library." Gajeel growled before turning from me and walking out the doors of the guild.
I'm guessing he decided to go home. Though I really didn't care. As long as he wasn't up my ass about everything I did I was fine. Juvia walked away, leaving me to my silence.
"I swear you two fight like a married couple." Lucy's angelic voice erupted behind me.
"I would never get married to that freak, you of all people know that Luce." I replied, turning to face her.
