Serendipity's POVI was bored, so I decided to go to a lame high school party. Currently, I was in the bathroom doing my thing, when I heard a masculine slurred cry for help. I exited the bathroom and peered into the closest bedroom and what I found was displeasing. Nerdboy was on the ground taking a beating from a steroid-pumped jock. I tapped the jock on the shoulder and when he turned around, pulled his hand and flipped him over. I elbowed him in a pressure point causing him to be knocked out for a couple of hours.
I grabbed the lanky noodle that is nerdboy and he was clearly drugged. I carried him to my motor bike and speeded home. When we got there I dragged him up the stairs and threw him onto my bed and slept on the couch in my room. God, I hope my mom doesn't decide to come home tonight.
Kaleb's POV
"SERENDIPITY HOPE CHANCE , WHY IN THE HELL IS THERE A BOY IN YOUR BED!" A shrill feminine voice shrieked. I opened my eyes and saw I was in an unfamiliar bed with a businesswoman at the foot of it staring at me as though I were an alien. I could faintly hear the water running and then shutting off coming from a white door besides a desk that was across from the bed. Serendipity came out of that door wearing nothing but a towel and an aggravated expression. "Mother, this is an acquaintance of mine that I found at a party drugged and almost being beaten to death. After rescuing this damsel in distress, He was too out of it to tell me where he lived so I brought him here. I then dragged him up the stairs and his face hit the steps, explaining his shiner, and then placed him on my bed and slept on the couch," She said this all while keeping a straight face and dropping tones of irritation. Upon hearing this information, her mother's jaw dropped and she simply walked out of the room shaking her head.
"Out of all the days she could choose to come home." Serendipity mumbled and went to the door next to her bathroom door and got changed. After that, Serendipity and I hung out and got to know each other better for the rest of the day. My phone went off multiple times and I continuously ignored it.
