School was great. A lot of people was asking me questions about Nick and I and I responded. I kinda like this attention.Michelle is coming over here.
      "Hey Amber."she says as i open door.
    "Hey Michelle." I say.
    "You needed to talk to me"she says.
    "Nick and I broke up."I say.
     "Really. What happened."she say.
    I tell her what happened with the break up. I am really upset.
     "I am so sorry. Wait didn't you tell everyone you two are still dating."she says.
    "Yes is did. I fell really bad. Everyone is expecting nick to take me to the dance." I say.
     " You have to tell them the truth."she says.
    " I can't everyone will think I am a looser." I say.
     " well we will figure something out. Lets go watch a movie." She says.
     "Ok" I say.
      We end up watching the longest ride. It was a good movie. I want Nick and I to be like that but no it can't. She ends up staying the whole night and she slept on the floor in my room. I asked her if she want to sleep in the bed with me but she said, I'm not about that life. She is so funny. I love her like a sister.
        It's the next day. She takes her shower first then I. We do the usual things you do in the morning. We decided to take her car to school. We jam to the radio all the way to school.
     I go to class and the morning announcements come on.
     "Good morning students, I have a important announcement to make, the queen nominees are Sara Jones and Amber Rose." Mr.Vanndoom says.
I am so confused. I am a nominee for the fall solstice. That had never happened to me before. I don't know how to feel. I hear everyone clap for me. I have to boost my popularity up.
I go to my locker to get my stuff for my next class. Sara walks over.
"Congratulations, I have no doubt that you are going to loose." She says then walks away.
Then I see Ty'Sean.
"Hey. Congrats. Do you have a date?" He says.
"I do. It's Nick." I walk away all sassy. I can't stand him.
I walk over to my squad.
"Sup peps."I say.
They all say like little robots"hello solstice queen." We all laugh. We walk away to our next class together.
Class is over and I go to lunch. We all get the same thing. We sit at the same table that we also it at.
"So when are we going dress shopping." I asked.
    "We should do it Saturday." Erica says.
     "You mean tomorrow." Chanel says.
     "One of those days." Erica says.
     "I'm free"I say.
     "Tomorrow it is" Michelle says.
     We laugh and talk about our day. Some people walked up to our table and said. You got my vote amber.
    I am so happy the whole school knows me. I post some pics of Nick and I on Instagram. The pics go viral. How would people react to when Nick doesn't take me to the dance.
