12.

I set the bag of strawberries in the cooler and set it in Belle's brown lunch bag. I put a banana in Harry's and rolled them closed. I had work today so Belle was going with Harry to the shack.

Belle walked in with Harry behind her. She wore dark jean shorts and a white tank top. Harry held her pink converse in his hand and a hair tie on his wrist. His hair was already pulled into a bun. He had his jean shorts and a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up.

He sat Belle on the counter and tied her shoes on and her hair up into a bun.

"You guys look cute" I smiled

"Thankyou" he fake flipped his hair

"I packed you both lunch, I'll be there around 2, I packed clothes to change into"

"Good, well you're gonna be late for work, so let's go"

I locked the door behind me and made my way to my Audi, Harry and Belle went to his truck. I waved goodbye and left as did Harry. We were gonna hang out with everyone today around 2 at the board walk. I had a meeting today so I brought clothes to change into.

I arrived at the company at 9am and walked in. My black heels clicked as I walked to my office. Michelle was already doing paperwork when I walked by. I sat behind my office chair and began work.

Harry's POV

Belle sat on the counter as I cut fish up. I was excited for today. Every one was gonna go on the board walk then a bonfire tonight while Belle was at her uncle's. It was peaceful today, not much going on.

"Harry! Harry!" I looked at Belle as she held a headless fish

"You're a fish killer Belle" I laughed

I cleaned up the station and washed up. Belle and I were gonna go fishing for awhile today. I put our packed lunches in my bag and grabbed the gear. Belle walked behind me, smiling. She looked just like Jess.

Once we got to the board walk, there were already some families fishing. I took Belle to the end and set up the two chairs. Belle sat in the smaller one, as I sat in the big one. I set up a pole and relaxed. We sipped one some juice boxes and watched for fish.

Jessica's POV

"Are you fucking kidding me!" I screamed

I threw another plate, watching it shatter against the wall. Tears fell from my eyes. I was angry but upset. I didn't want her to pass that way, so badly. I picked up my phone and called Harry.

"Hey Babe!"

"I need you.."

"Babe, are you crying"

"She died Harry" I sobbed

"Im on my way! Belle is with Louis"

I hung up and slid down the wall, hugging my legs.

Harry's POV

I parked my truck outside and rushed inside to Jess.

"Jess, where are you babe?" I yelled

I heard sobbing from the kitchen and ran in there. She sat on the floor by the window, glass everywhere. I went over to her and bent down. She looked at me and all I could see was pain in her eyes. I picked her up and carried her upstairs into her bedroom. I gabbed one of my shirts left here and some sleeping shorts. I set them on the bed and stood in front of Jess.

"Lets have a bath okay? Then ill make some hot chocolate and we can sit on the back porch and Louis can bring Belle back"

She nodded and I went into the bathroom. I started some warm water in the tub and added bubbles. once it was full, I turned the water off and went back to Jess. She looked up at me and forced a smile. I kissed her forehead and grabbed her hands. I led her to the bathroom and stopped near the tub. I grabbed the hem of her untucked white blouse. I pulled it over her head and let it drop next to us.

I then unzipped her skirt and it was in the pile too, following her bra and panties. I stripped off my clothes and added them to the pile too. I helped her into the tub, then I sat behind her. She leaned back on me and closed her eyes. I hugged her and kissed her head. We sat like that for awhile before we got out.

I wrapped her in a towel and we stood in the bedroom. I helped her into her new clothes and brush her hair. I grabbed a big blanket from the hall closet and walked with her downstairs to the backyard.

"Now, stay here and get comfy. Im gonna make some hot chocolate and call Louis. When I get back Ill start us a fire"

I walked back inside and looked at the messy kitchen. I pulled out my phone first and called Louis.

"Hey man!"

"Hey, can you drop off Belle at Jess's?"

"Yeah, what happened to her?"

"Someone passed away, Ill have to tell you guys later but we won't be at the fire tonight"

"It's cool, Ill be there with Belle in like 30 minutes"

"Okay, thanks man"

"No problem"

Once I hung up, I swept the floor to clean up the glass and mopped just in case. I started the hot chocolate and went to start the fire. Jess sat in the hammock, covered up. She watched as I pulled the fire pit closer and added fire wood. I put some gasoline and added a match. The fire started quickly and added warmth to the chilly night. I went back inside and checked on the coco. Jess's phone sat on the counter. I unlocked it and saw the messages from Danielle her stepmom. Jess's mother Claire had died. I locked the phone and made two cups of hot chocolate.

The doorbell rang, I rushed to the door to open it. Louis stood at the door with Belle in his arms. I took her from him, keeping her asleep.

"Thankyou"

"No problem, tell Jess I said sorry for the passing"

I nodded and he left after kissing Belle's head.  I walked upstairs and into her bedroom. I laid her in bed and covered her up.

Jess was in the same position when I came back with drinks. I set the drinks on the table and climbed next to her. We were sitting up a little so I handed her a drink. She took a sip and cuddled into her. I brushed her hair with my fingers.

"It'll be okay"

"Thankyou" she mumbled

"For?"

"Being here"

"I wouldn't want to be anywhere else"

Once she finished her drink and the fire started to die out, we went inside. I put the cups in the sink and made sure the fire was out. After locking the doors, I went upstairs. Jess say on the bed, rubbing her eyes. I got in the other side of the bed and tugged her to me. She laid down, cuddled into my side.

"Goodnight baby" I whispered

She hummed and closed her eyes. I followed suit.
