As I look up to see who it is, I see that my ex-boyfriend, Jessie is standing right in front of me!
"How have you been?", he asks.
"Fine. Now, go away. I don't want to talk to you, especially after the way you treated me a year ago!", I exclaim.
"Aw, come on. That was a YEAR ago, why don't we hang out at this concert together...pretty please!!", he pleads.
"Ugh, fine". I guess hanging with him for one night can't be too bad, can it?
~Flashback (a year ago)~
"No! I can't believe you did this!", I was practically screaming.
I had just seen Jessie in the park, kissing another girl! I absolutely couldn't control my rage, and was yelling louder than I ever had before. He had cheated on me with the rudest girl in school, one of those girls who thought she was better than everyone else in the world. I absolutely ticked me off.
"Trust me, I love you, and only you", he tried to convince me. I would've believed him, although this was the second time this week he cheated on me with the same girl, Maddy.
"Nope! This is the second time you've done this to me!!! It's over! I'm so done with you!". I stormed off, and quickly got rid of everything I had of his, and completely shut him out for a year.
~End of Flashback~
"You okay, Abby? You spaced out", Jessie asks me.
"Yeah, I'm good, thanks", I say as I start to regret agreeing to spend the afternoon with him.
~TIME SKIP~
"Wow, that was the best concert I've ever been to. What did you think, Jessie?", I ask him
"It was awesome! Hey, can I ask you something?", he says nature of himself.
"Uhh...yeah, sure?", I say, immediately regretting it.
"Will you go out with me again tomorrow?"
I feel like I could pass out cold on the concrete. Did he REALLY just say that? To me? Why can't he go cry to Maddy? He's such an idiotic wimp. Well maybe I should give him one more chance...
