Happy Birthday to ME
How self obsessed am I? I haven't written for who knows how long but for my birthday? Of course.
You knocked on the door of medium sized brick house. It was quite the way away from the city you and the rest of your friends lived in. A loud squeal came from the other side of the door.
"GET THE DOOR!!!!!" "Getting it." The door opened and you came face to face with Dave Strider. "Oh hey. Wasn't expecting anyone else to bother showing up." "Are you kidding me! She's my friend course I showed up!" Dave gestured inside. You nodded and walked in. "Who all came?" "Besides you? Me." "That's all? I thought everyone liked her!" "I guess not enough to drive 2 hours to attend her party." Dave led me through the house to the dinning room where a half eaten chocolate cake, a plate of cookies, a pint of vanilla ice cream, and a couple cups of soda... no...Appl sat on the table. "WHO IS IT!" Chi said running in the kitchen. "Happy Birthday Chi!" "Thank you!"
Chi had always hated cramped cities and preferred her quaint house with lots of yard space. But when everyone else had to go ____ miles out of their way to vist, you don't get a lot of guests. "What brings you out here Y/n?" Chi asked. "Why you of course! We're good friends right?" "Good friends?" Chi said with a serious tone. "WE'RE BEST FRIENDS! But you guys shouldn't have come all the way out here!" She said happily. "Stop saying that. If we didn't feel it necessary we wouldn't have come." Dave said looking out the window. Chi's eyes began to water, but she was smiling like an idiot. You hug her. "Y/N, help yourself to the snacks." She wiped her eyes. "I don't know what I did to have friends like you guys." You let go of her and pat her on the shoulder. "Chi dear, go wash your face before your eyes get puffy." "Mkay." She said before she got up and walked back down the hall.
"So...what made you come here Strider?" "No one should be alone on their birthday." He glanced at you. "No matter how ironic your friendship with them is." "Wise words indeed. You sure you don't really enjoy her presence?" "Never said that I didn't." "Oh. Ha." "What are you laughing at (L/N)?" "Just the fact that you actually care about her. Meaning you have a sweet side." "We Striders don't have "sweet sides". What you see is what you get." "I'm not so sure about that." Dave got up and cut a slice of cake. You reached for the plate but he pulled it out of your reach. "What do you think you're doing (L/n)?" "Thinking you were gonna be sweet enough to cut me a slice of cake." "Nope." "Haven't you had enough cake?" You ask referring to how much cake was missing. He thought it over. "Fine." He handed you the plate. You picked up the plastic fork and happily dug into the cake.
"Yo (L/n)." "What now Strider?" "You got cake on your face." You instinctively touch your mouth and looked at your hand. "There's nothing there." He groaned and stood up to help you. "Right here" just as he said that he smooshed cake icing onto your face. "Seems as though you've got something on your face as well Strider." You wiped ice cream onto his cheek and stood there in silence as a gob slowly made it's way down his face. You try to stifle a laugh but he caught it. "Oh you think this is funny?" He asked glaring at you. You didn't even try to stop it, you burst out laughing.
Chi cheerfully skipped back into the kitchen. "What's so funn-" She took in your chocolate cover face. "Oh." Dave turned to look at Chi. "Dave...? Did someone c-"(*inset Lenny face*)"Don't you even dare finish that sentence."
The two (Dave and (Y/n)) cleaned themselves off and the three enjoyed the rest of the day. (<- to lazy to actually write an ending)
