Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm blared. I moaned in annoyance, hitting it. I did not want to go to work, I was exhausted. I didn't get home till late last night because of my awful date. There was not going to be a second one. I stand up, my blankets falling to the floor. I leave them there, and stretch, before I walk to the bathroom, rubbing my eyes. I think I am going to wear my hair down to work today. I am 20 years old, and I work at Manly Inc. I started working there when I was 19. I went to collage when I was 15, because I am smart. But I got stuck with this dumb assed job. I liked the old CEO better. Henry Manly, but now they have that inresposible boy, Henry's son running the business. I have never met Jake. But he was hot. I recall how he looked like. His jet black hair, and dreamy chocolate brown eyes could make a girls heart explode in a second. Well, every girls heart but mine. I sighed, and slid on a red shirt, as I did my makeup.

Once I was done getting ready, I walked downstairs my apartment. Yes, I lived in a apartment. You would think a billionaire CEO would pay us more. He doesn't. I hop into my small car, and start driving to work, which was about ten minutes away from my apartment. But since it was only seven, I got there faster. I hop out of my car, and go into the building. I show them my ID card, and the security let's me through. "Thanks." I mumble as I walk by the guards. "Your welcome, sweetie." One of them says. I smile, and walk up to my small office, which had a bunch of computers in it. I was the main computer girl. If anyone needed anything, I would be the one to help them. I sit down at my chair, and log onto my computer.

I start scrolling through my emails, when I hear a small knock on the door. "Come in." I mumble, not taking my eyes off the screen. I hear the door open, and I still look up. " is Miss Anderson here?" A husky voice asks. My eyes shift up, and my jaw drops when I see who is standing there. Jake Manly.
