For many years, fairy tales have been hacked to pieces. Now don't get me wrong, I love, love, LOVE fairy tales, even the ones that have been toned down to suit today's society. However, I love the originals even more. And the truth is, so many people don't even know the original stories.
So I had an idea. I decided to post all the original Grimms Fairy Tales - all 210 of them (including the Children's Legends). Now, don't go freaking out about copyright and plagiarism etc. because these stories have been listed on the public domains so it is totally legal.
I don't know about anyone else but I am a huge fan of the Grimms brothers - Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm - and I really wanted to do this. I think we all need to escape reality sometimes and enjoy a bit of fairy tale reading. :)
Do not be surprised at the unusual writing and twisted nature of these stories.
Because there are so many stories, I will not be posting them all at once. I intend to post one a week - every Saturday. It doesn't take long as I only need to copy and paste but I do have work and focus on my other writing, so once a week it will be.
