"Ah, here we are Tee", I said with a grin, "The great hunt trails and fields." Two years have passed now and we have become the best pair of friends a person could find. It was a long journey teaching Tecoma and building a trust but it all worked out eventually. It was now September 7th, 2014 just one day after my 13th birthday. My present to myself was a good ride with Tecoma so I grabbed a handful of mane and hopped on with my backpack ready. By now, I rode with now saddle and no bridle, just a simple halter and reins attached. As we walked through the woods I always had the constant thought my god how far we have come. When we arrived to the field I hopped off and fed her a apple then we crept along looking for a good spot to set up camp. I set my stuff down and hop back on to go with Tecoma to find fire wood and come back to set up a tent. After a while Stormy rides up with her horse Star Fire and we camp out over night. The next day we pack up and head home. When we get back my mom asks me to come over to her and says it's my riding instructor on the phone, she wants to go pony shopping again! I was overwhelmed with happiness then I thought oh my gosh I have to sell Tecoma! But my mom reassured me that we are keeping Tee as well. The next week we fly out to Florida to look at horses.
