Ashley's POV
"Gabriel??"
"Umm...... Ashley could you please come with me on a d-date p-please"" he said giving me those cute little eyes
"Gabriel that's -thats" I said cutting my words
"Stupid, yeah I know " he said looking down at the floor
"Sweet " I said with a bright smile at my face
But theirs only one problem
"What I'm your friend"he said with a worried face
"No, Brian already asked me and I want to give him second chance " I said looking at his eyes directly
"Ohh...... I see you don't want to have a date with your best friend because it's awkward, I didn't think this through " he said about to leave and he dropped the rose he was carrying
I held his hand
"You didn't let me finish, I want to give him a second chance but I am not a baka to pick him over my best friend " I said
"Really!" He said brightening the smile in my face
"Okay I'll pick you up tonight at 7:00pm" he said giving me the rose he dropped earlier and left off with a big smile on his face
I was running to the school gate to go home since the time is already 6:00
I suddenly bumped into Brian
Wait-what I can't tell him but what choice do I have
"Ashley, so are you gonna give me another chance " he said brushing his hair and giving me those annoying yet cute eyes
Wait-what cute what am I saying, Ashley don't ever forget that night ( yeah sometimes I talk to myself)
"Gomenasai but Gabriel already ask me and I want to give him a chance " I said looking at him
"Ohh...Okay " he said with teary eyes
"Excuse me " he said about to cry
Wait -what
Well because of that mixed up with Brian I only have a few minutes left to prepare
I called for a taxi cab to pick me up
6:35pm
The taxi cab dropped me off and I only have 30 minutes to prepare for my date with Gabriel
I went inside and went for a quick shower I put on my purple dress and put on light make up I got my purple sparkly shoes and went to my dresser
I put on my lucky bracelet (I called it lucky because I don't know where I got it from, my memory is kinda blurry and I can't remember anything)
I tied my hair since my hair is until my waist
6:59pm
I went outside and Gabriel opened the door of his car
What a gentle man
We drove off to the restaurant
7:21pm
We went to a fancy restaurant and sat in a cute little table
He had a surprise bouquet of Stargazers (their my favourite kind of flower )he knows me so well
We we're laughing all night long until this question popped in his head that made me blush
"Who taught you how to speak Japanese? "
I blushed
"Ummm... my big brother Henry and my big sister Lisha "I said
"You never told me about your past even though that I've been stuck with you since Elementary,please"
"Okay my mom's name is Patricia and my dad's name is Paulo
*flashback of Ashley's past*
I was still 1 year old, Ashley don't ever forget about us, Patricia and Paulo or mom and dad,
we will be going to America and someday soon you will follow us. We will leave you with your big and little brother and sister.
Lisha I will leave you encharge okay mom said while kissing everyone in the forehead including me.
After a few years Ate Lisha and Kuya Henry started talking to me in Japanese because mom and dad wants us to know Japanese and I learned.
Another year passed and it was my first day in my first school and I started talking in Japanese And everyone laughed at me so I never talked in Japanese.
And after that first day of school I don't remember anything

I started crying
Gabriel's POV
"I'm so sorry"I said giving her a pat in the back
"Its okay " she said
"And if your interested to know about we're you got that bracelet, I would gladly help you" I said giving her smile that brightened hers
"Really, you know were I got this bracelet from I called it lucky because I never know were I got it from" she said rubbing her eyes
"Remember the time....." I said looking above me
"Just do a flash back! " she said looking at me while silently giggling
"Fine then" I said looking at her and rolling my eyes
Readers POV
*Flashback of Gabriel and Ashley when they we're still Grade 5*
"Hi " Gabriel said
"Nice to meet you my name is Gabriel " Gabriel said while offering her hand to Ashley
"My name is Ashley ,nice to meet you Gabriel " Ashley said while shaking the hand of Gabriel
Ashley and Gabriel we're really close to each other
They hang out everyday
A few months or maybe many months pass
"Ashley, I want to give you something, something to remind you of our very close friendship " Gabriel said while giving Ashley a silver bracelet with two tiny little hearts dangling at the bottom of the bracelet

Ashley's POV
Tears fell from my eyes
I never knew or maybe even remembered about Gabriel giving me that bracelet.
I can't believe that my lucky bracelet was a gift from my best friend and I can't even remember
Whats wrong with me
He suddenly wiped the tears that fell from my eyes
But at last the food arrived
I place the spoon in my mouth with the food
"Mmmm.... Totte mo shi " I said joyfully
"What's Totte mo shi?" He said looking at me
"Ohhh... I just said its really delicious " I said chuckling
After we we're done eating we decided that we should walk along the park
Cause we never seen the park at night
