I kissed him back.

We stayed like that for a few seconds -only a few- before, slowly, Hakyung drew away from me. His breaths came out soft; in warm whispers that brushed delicately against my lips.

With hesitance, he met my eyes, searching for any type of anger or negative expression on my face.

"Did you..." He trailed off and gulped. "We're you okay with that?"

"Yeah, of course."

I felt my stomach flutter in a way that would have been sickening, if it weren't for the vivid way Hakyung smiled and made the world look brighter. I drew in a deep breath, to try and calm myself down.

"So.... You wouldn't mind doing that again?" His eyes fell to his hands in his lap, his hair flopping down, a soft smile growing on his lips. "Maybe outside of school at the Thai place... on Westeros Avenue?"

"I don't know." I sighed, letting myself smile as well. "Are you asking me out for dinner there?"

He looked up, his shyness still there, but fading into adorable determination. "Yes, I am. When would you like to go there?"

"Hmmmm..." I drew out my hum, tapping a finger on my chin. "Are you free..." He leaned in, and I would have laughed at how eager he seemed, if it weren't for the fact that I was just as eager. "... Friday?"

"Sure, yeah, that sounds good... Great, actually. Um, do you need a lift, or-"

"Ah, I'll get there." I answered, purposefully not mentioning that I lived right across the road from the place.

As if on queue, the bell went, and Hakyung began packing his book into his backpack and washing the paint off his palette. I stayed with him until he was done, and he wiped his wet hands on his dark uniform shorts.

"So.... Um, I'll text you tonight, then?"

I nodded. "Sounds good."

"Okay, then." He spotted a few of my friends across the flat plain of concrete, and waved to me in a small, cute gesture. "Bye. I'll see you around."

"Bye, Hakyung. I'll see you around." I returned his wave with an undeniably wide grin on my face.

If you want this story to continue, I probably won't add chapters until I've worked out where this story is going, because truthfully I was originally going to end at 'And he kissed me'. But then I fell in love with Hakyung haha.

Any who, I'm going to try and get some progress on my other story, 'Avoiding August' first, before I continue with this story.
