Scars Never Fade...Or Do They?

It's been a month and a half and I'm over the flu I had, it lasted a month because apparently I have a very weak immune system.

Right now I'm home alone because Gray is at work and Lucy is at pre-school. It is really hot so I'm getting ready for a swim.

I'm wearing black bikini bottoms and a white and blue striped bikini top without the straps. I pulled my long, light blue hair into a messy bun.

I walked to the balcony and put on sun-screen so I didn't burn-I learnt that the hard way-once I was done, I hoped into the pool and swam around.

I didn't know how long I was in the pool but I heard someone in the house. I quickly got out of the pool and hid behind one of the plants surrounding the pool.

"Juvia I know your there"I heard Gray yell out. I got out of my hiding spot and stood in front of him. He gasped and I quickly looked down knowing what he was gasping at.

It was my scars, before when I went swimming with Lucy she didn't care because she's only a little girl and doesn't understand but with Gray he understands and knows how they got there.

I turned around and went to grab my towel forgetting about what was on my back.

Gray's POV
I walked outside to the balcony and saw Juvia's blue hair in one of the bushes so I yelled out "Juvia I know your there" she got out from her hiding spot and I gasped.

I saw scars and burn marks on her arms and stomach not so much on her legs. She looked down, probably remembering that she had scars and she didn't cover them.

She turned around to grab her towel and once again I gasped. On her back were three long claw marks that went from her right shoulder blade to the left side of her waist.

She froze on the spot, she quickly turned around looking at me frightened "It's disgusting isn't it"she said looking at me blankly, but I could clearly see the pain in her eyes.

"It's not disgusting...who told you that"I quietly said. I slowly walked up to her, taking one step at a time "They told me"she whispered when I reached her.

"Who's They"I asked, I was so close to cracking the case, but she shut me out...again. She does it whenever I get to close to finding out who did this. She always turns around and shrugs the question of or just looks at me.

She walked back inside, to go get changed most likely. That's it I thought I'm going to find out who it is I felt determined.

I walked inside and walked into her bedroom "Ahhhhhhh"I heard her sequel, I went bright red as I saw her completely naked, her hands trying to cover up her....private bits.

"Why are you standing there?!?!"she yelled again. I walked over to her bed and grabbed the towel of it and wrapping it around her.

"Sorry but we need to talk and we need to do it now because I need to solve this case"I said sternly.

She looked shock and she had tears on the brink of her eyes "SO THATS WHAT I MEAN TO YOU, IM JUST ANOTHER CASE, ANOTHER PERSON IN NEED OF HELP. Omg I fell for you, I fell in love with you and all I am to you is some CASE!!"she yelled.

I stood there shocked...she...loves...me. Oh My God she loves me. I pulled her into my arms, having the biggest smile on my face. I was talking to Gajeel today and he said I should go home and confess to her but I don't need to anymore.

"Uh...what are you doing"Juvia whispered nervously "Hugging you"I replied cheekily "Why?"she asked yet again.

"Well because you love me and I love you...simple"I replied happily "Why? Would you love me? I have these disgusting scars that will never fade!"she yelled frustrated.

"That's the reason, I love you because...you are different, your shy, cute, bubbly, and those scars make you special because it makes you, you. I don't want some girl with smooth skin, I want you who has scars, bruises and the best thing of all....Flaws"I said kissing her cheek.

She blushed bright red and started crying. I thought I was the reason she was crying but it turns out she was really happy, so they were happy tears.

I kissed her on the lips and it felt like fireworks were exploding on my lips. Her lips were soft and tasted of pool water. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped my arms around her waist.

"That was an awesome kiss"she said "Well duh because you were kissing me"I said cockily pretending to flick my hair.

All of a sudden Juvia's face redden and she looked down. My eyes followed hers and I saw her...um...breasts.

She pushed me out and slammed the door in my face "It's ok! I'll see those soon anyway"I yelled chuckling when I heard her scream in frustration.

"Oh by the way! Scars can fade!" I yelled out again.
