Ross POV
I quickly made it Into me and maxs and tims apartment.
I scurried up the stairs and into our actual place.
"Ross?" Max said as I closed the door behind me.
"H-hey max!" I said in my most cheerful voice I could get.
"Where were you?" He asked.
I looked over at the clock. Ive been out for more than an hour.
"Off- somewhere. Its nothing." I say quickly.
"I heard fire trucks. Did you see a fire while you were out?" Max asked, stepping close to me.
What if he knows? !?! I thought but tried not to look scared.
"Naw." I say, stepping close to him.
Max puts his hands on my shoulders. "Okay. I love you."
I felt warmth spread over me. You always will love me max.
"I love you too." I say as he pulled me into a kiss.
Jess POV
Am I gonna get arrested!? I thought as I paced my bedroom. Surely not. Ross lit the fire. But I brought him there.
I look over at my computer screen. The security camera has broken and now I couldnt see the flames anymore.
I sighed and leaned back onto a wall. Can my life just be normal ? I thought to myself.
Max POV
I was thankful that ross was home. I never wanted him apart from me again.
That might sound crazy, but weve been through a lot.
"Night." Tim said as he headed to his own room.
I said goodnight with ross, than headed to bed.
"Can I sleep with you?" Ross asked before I shut my door.
"Course you can!" I said and let him in.
He quickly got under the blankets and patted next to him for me to join.
I came over and sat over the covers.
"Please tell me." I say and look at him.
Ross closed his eyes. "You want to know the truth?"
"Yes!" I said and flopped backwards onto my pillow.
"I-i, I went to get you flowers and the store was closed. I tried other stores and they were also. I wanted to surprise you." Ross said, tears coming to his eyes.
I put my arm around his shoulders. "Its okay! I love you."
"I know!" He cried.
I winced at his harshness and put my free hand onto his hand.
"Want to go to bed now?" I ask.
He gave me a shaky nodd and I curled up next to him, under the covers.
"Night max."
