Chapter 11              Freedom and truths

(Scarlett's POV)

I entered the main living room shortly after Esra left me to digest everything he had hit me with, and as I entered the room my eyes were instantly drawn to him.  I watched furiously as he looked me dead in the eye while putting his arm around Tori who was sitting next to him on the couch practically drooling on him.  It was like he was challanging me.  I know he said that he doesn't feel like it's a game, but he sure is playing something, I thought.  I smiled at him, meeting his look, meeting his challange.

"Esra"  I smiled sweetly at him "do you think that you would let me go sightseeing if we all went?  Then you could make sure nothing happened to me, and everyone else would be around to keep everything in check also"

.

"You know what, I think that's a great idea' His voice sounding sceptical that I was not up to something.  "Why doesn't everyone take an hour to rest and get ready and then we will go.  We will go for dinner also, to celebrate Adella and Tori's arrival.  Great idea Scarlett."

I went back to my room to decide what I would wear, and to see if I could find a camera lying around somewhere.  I had no idea what to wear, I wanted to be comfortable, but I also didn't want to under dress for dinner.  I also wouldn't mind tempting a particular vampire a little tonight, I thought smiling to myself.  After a bit, I decided on a tight pair of very dark blue skinny jeans with a deep red top that fit to a t, and was cut very low causing eyes to be directed to my ample cleavage, and topped it all with a pair of 6 inch stilleto boots.  Yeah, maybe not the most efficiant for walking around the village, but I had decided that it was more important to draw attention than be comfortable.  I looked in the full length mirror to double check that I looked ok.  Not bad, I smiled wickedly.  My hair left down flowed down my back in cascading curls.  I looked hot.  I was going to give Tori a run for her money tonight.  Throwing some things in a purse, I quickly left the room to find the group.

I could hear that they were all waiting for me as I hit the top of the stairs.  Esra had his back to me, but Harlan and Rodrick didn't, and when they caught sight of me, I heard a few gasps come from both of them, making me smile inwardly.  Esra never looked at me as he said "Let's go."

The car ride was quiet.  But I was too busy taking in the scenery to be bothered by it.  I think this may be the most beautiful place I have ever seen.  Green rolling hills with wild flowers covering almost every inch, old gothic style buildings coming into view as we got closer to town.  I was almost sqirming with excitement as we parked to get out.  Rodrick laughed at me and my excitement.

"Come on hot stuff, I'll show you the market.  It is very cool." Rodrick said extending his arm to me for me to take his hand.  Hhmm, I thought, he is not going to like that one bit.  I didn't care.  I was ready to have some fun.  Besides, Rodrick's hand was warm and comforting.  I was having a tough time dealing with everything and needed to feel a little comfort.  I took his hand, smiled and said "Lets go then!"

"Hey, we will meet you guys at the resturaunt in two hours." Rodrick said to esra and the others.  I snuck a peek at Esra, if looks could kill, Rodrick would be dead.  He gave Esra an odd look like, what's you problem and then pulled me down an alleyway.
