Oikawa is actually really, really blind and needs to wear glasses all the time. Because, of volleyball he just wears contacts to make life easier.
One day he woke up late and was in a rush to school. He didn't have time to put his contacts in so he kept his glasses on.
This was the first time the team (besides Iwaizumi) had seen him in his glasses.
They spent the first twenty minutes of practise each trying the glasses on while Oikawa was complaining how he really couldn't see anything at all.
Everyone agrees that Kyoutani looks the best with them on.
