The busy streets of the summer festival are filled with people laughing, dancing, and just enjoying themselves in general. How do they wear their skin with such pride? How do their lips form a smile with such ease? They are birds soaring and my wings are broken so I watch fascinated and lonely. A familiar smell greets me, my family's restaurant. I search through the crowd and see the small area where my brother and abuela are serving food. Trying to avoid conversation I quickly grab some sweet bread and make my way toward the bridge.
