*'Kuro yuki no shiro kuma' translates into 'white bear of the black snow.'
Also, I don't have a wide span knowledge of Bleach. I am doing the best I can in interpreting the length in things... like, I have no idea how long the academy is. So I'm estimating. But I guess those skillful would advance faster than the others? I don't know. So I'm just going with it lol. I hope you enjoy the story regardless. But please, leave feedback and I can change colossal errors!! X3
"Beat down! Kuro yuki no shiro kuma!"
A black ash like substance began to fall over the slowly darkening skies, eating the azure like dinner as it was encased entirely in sable. Blackening the world around. With a swift swing of the sword, a sharp cry sounded from the blade as it tore through the wind, a white light forming brighter and stronger over every millisecond. A white bear made entirely of spirit energy formed as it lunged forward in a distorted motion, taking the hollow in its jaws before tearing it into the abyss sky, engulfing the beast and devouring it completely. Not even the screams reached my ears, the attacked being speed based; it happened in seconds. 4.5 To be unerring. The sky brightened once more, field appearing as if nothing had happened. Not even the dirt had stirred. I smiled up at the Cerulean colour as it returned to my view, my serenity returning with it.
"Brutal as always I see."
I turned apathetic (E/C) eyes, staring up at my oversized; brute of a captain with a soft smile.
"You did teach me after all, Captain Zaraki. I guess you just rubbed off on me."
"Hm, that's good then. You were a weak mess when you first entered the Soul Society. If I'm honest I never thought you'd make it as a Shinigami, let alone onto my squad. And just look at you now."
A sick smile twisted onto his face. Captain Zaraki was an amazing Captain. With strength unparalleled in my opinion, but he was a scary mother fucker... his psychosis was clearly not that of an average man, which led me to wonder how he even became a Captain in the first place. His eagerness for battle, the fact that he handicaps his opponents with those daft bells and eye-patch, that he revels in a bloody battle... it can't help but leave me overly concerned about his mental health. Well, it had once upon a time. Yachiru serving as a succour to him, but not only that; there have been small moments that I have witnessed his great leadership. I guess the crazies really are the most intelligent.
"You listening to me woman?"
"Uh..."
I didn't really want to say no... but I didn't want to provoke a ranting. So I went with the only thing my brain could form in the situation.
"Sorry Captain, as you can understand from your own prior circumstances I guess I got caught up in the moment. My head went blank for a second. My apologies."
He stared at me... smirk slowly twisting onto his face... I gave the right answer.
"Battle can do that to you. Good job (Y/N). You left nothing behind of that hollow."
He turned on his heel, walking away from me.
"Uhm, Captain?"
He stopped briskly with a heavy sigh, refusing to turn and look at me. His sigh held boredom and annoyance. He knew what I was going to ask. Had I really become that predictable?
"There are still no Captain or Lieutenant positions opening for you (Y/N). Not for me, nor for any of the other squads."
"But-"
