Chapter 5

Roc; yeah, isn't that great?

Jay; Ew, no ! Well, you're lying so, it's okay.

Roc; No I'm not, ask Ray.

He turned around and called Ray over.

Roc; Lopez, your lizard ass over here!

Ray rolled his eyes and walked over to where Roc and I were.

Ray; I'm not a lizard, you pit bull.

Roc; yeah, whatever. Anyways, ray. Who's in our group?

Ray; you, Prodigy, Princeton, Jimmiya and I.

My eyes turned black again, I was so annoyed

Jay; look here you lizard with a perm and cross breed vampire werewolf, I. AM. NOT. IN. YOUR. GROUP!

Just when I started to calm down, Princeton comes and puts his arm around me... This Mexican.

Prince; ¿como estás, mama cita?

The boys all gave him a stank face and I moved out of his grip.

Prince; what?

Ray; you don't have to be Spanish to understand what you just said, fool.

Roc walked over to Prince and whispered something in his ear, I have to admit, he was a good at whispering.

Jay; you know what? I'm asking Chris, I don't trust you guys.

I stated to walk away when I bumped into someone and fell to the floor. A few people laughed but, I was totally embrassed, causing my eyes to turn pink. That only happens when I'm embarrassed or confused.

Jay; are you Seri-

I looked up and Prodigy was standing right there, another member of Bad Behavior. Out of all of them, he was the most mannered. Sometimes I wonder why he's in there. He looked so sorry, and literally lifted me off of the ground.

Prod; oh my gosh, are you Okay, Jimmiya?

He was the only one that called me by my first name, even the teachers call me Jay.

Jay; yeah, I'm fine, Prodigy?

Prod; yes, jimmiya?

Jay; why do you call me, Jimmiya?

Prod; isn't that your name?

Jay; well yeah, but why don't you call me Jay like everyone else?

Prod; well, I don't like being like everyone else, I'm not like everyone else. I'm special, and I don't know what it is about you, but something about you is special too. I'll find out soon.

He smiled and walked away. I smile and walked over to Chris who was grading papers.

Chris; well, look who's in love.

At first I didn't understand cause my eyes to merge between pink and another colour... Then it hit me, Prodigy made my eyes green! But, how does Chris know that green means in love?

Chris; oh, so you're confused and in love?

Jay; Chris, stop it. How do you know w-

Chris; Jay, you make it so obvious. Only a complete idiot wouldn't know what your eyes mean. Black when you're angry or annoyed, blue when you're scared or sad, hazel when you're happy or normal, pink when you're embarrassed or confused and green when in love or feeling bubbly.

Jay; woah, you're good.

Chris; I know.

He smiled at me, he was such a hot teacher ! Well, we got a lot around here.

Jay; sure, whatever man. But that's not why I'm here right now.

Chris stopped grading papers and gave me his full attention.

Chris; sure, what's on ya mind, lil ma.

Him calling me "lil ma" flushed the pink straight out of my eyes.

Jay; well, about my group... I heard I was with Prodigy, Roc, Ray and Princeton. What's up with that?

Chris looked at me funny then I just remembered, he doesn't know how they treat me. He only knows them as being "excellent young men"

Chris; what's wrong with them, they're excellent young men.

See what I mean?

Chris; and they're great dancers!

I have to agree with Chris on that point, Ray is a krumper, Prodigy is what we call a "MoonWalker" because his moves are smooth ! Roc, is more of a hip hop "in your face" dancer and Prince is REALLY energetic.

Jay; yeah but-

Chris; no buts Jay and...

He looked around then inched closer to me and whispered in my ear.

Chris; I think they like you. I seen Ray kiss you, Roc stare at you and Prince tryna be smooth.

Jay; what about Prodigy?

Chris; he's respectful, I didn't want you with a bunch of pervs. Plus, they're homies so, he'll tell them to back off.

Jay; true, thanks Chris!

Chris; anytime.

I started walking back to the boys, I was kinda disappointed that Roc was right.
