Serial Killer

Chapter 7

We arrive at Safeway & get off the car.

We enter & start looking around.

"So what do you need?" He asks.

"Milk, eggs, juice, bread, cheese, yogurt, & maybe a couple other things but those are the ones we need the most." I tell him looking at my list.

"Ok." He says, intertwining his hands with mine.

We get a shopping cart then walk all the way to the back for the juices & milk.

I get a gallon of 2% milk & fruit punch, apple juice, & watermelon juice.

We walk into the dairy section & I get a carton of eggs, cheese, and some vanilla & greek yogurt.

We walk into the bread isle & I get wheat bread. While we were there I see a variety of granola so I grab a couple of boxes.

After we are done shopping & I get a couple snacks we go to self checkout.

The total ended up being about $40.

I pay then we head out the door with our bags.

Zayn grabs some bags & I do too.

We put everything in the trunk then get inside.

"So now where do we go?" He asks me.

"We can head home actually, I can just go to the mall later with Grace or Niall." I say looking over to him.

"Sure." He says nodding, leaning over for a kiss.

When our lips touch it just feels like home.

He turns the engine on & we drive back to the apartments.

We get out the car & start taking things out of the trunk.

I hate making two trips so Zayn & I start getting as many bags as we can.

We walk into the lobby & go up the elevator.

We get to my apartment, I unlock the door, then we go to the kitchen to put the things down.

Grace is sitting at our little dining table drinking coffee & using her laptop.

"Hey, did you buy groceries?" She asks. "Hey zayn."

"Yeah we did." I respond.

"Hey Grace." Zayn says.

"Hey Alexa, I was thinking we should go shopping because I have nothing else to do & I need some new clothes." Grace suggests.

"Yeah sure, wanna invite Niall ? Or just me & you ?" I ask.

"Yeah, invite him! I haven't seen him in forever." She says.

"Yeah sure I'll text him." I say then take my phone out to text Niall.

The text reads

"Hey, wanna go shopping later ?" - me

"Hey babe I gotta run, love you." Zayn says giving me a passionate kiss.

"Bye, love you too." I say as he heads out the door.

"K I'm just gonna take a shower, change & then we can leave." Grace tells me.

"Kk." I say & wait.
